Young Savannah Dubrinsky was a mistress of illusion, a world-famous magician capable of mesmerizing millions. But there was one - Gregori, the Dark One - who held her in terrifying thrall. Whose cold silver eyes and heated sensuality sent shivers of danger, of desire, down her slender spine. With a dark magic all his own, Gregori - the implacable hunter, the legendary healer, the most powerful of Carpathian males - whispered in Savannah's mind that he was her destiny.

I loved the story line. The thing that really ruined this for me was the narrator . He was awful! I found myself rolling my eyes at his "portrayal" of Gregory. Some narrators have it and bring the story to life. This one didn't. Other than that I loved the story, Gregory's story. I recommend this book though just not the narrator. Read it, maybe.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I didnt like the book. It stirred no emotions in me. It was short and the story line left so much lacking. It reminded me a lot of the "Saw" franchise. I didnt connect with any of the characters. The environment wasnt all that clear to me.

Would you be willing to try another book from Iain Rob Wright? Why or why not?

Not if its anything like this.

What didn’t you like about Chris Barnes’s performance?

I didnt like the performance at all. Mostly because of the very heavy accent.

Do you think The Housemates needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Id say no.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

This book has been the hardest for me to get through so far in this series. It seemed like nothing was really happening and what was seemed the same thing over and over. I did however, really enjoyed the last four or five chapters. Mostly though, i forced my self through this one just so I could move on. Sorry, I love the series but this book was....boring.
