how is it this author could always find new ways to find love! there is no other author that makes me feel so much love and hope.

Mia take the heart wrenching story of a descendent of an immigrant and shows how she experiences the hard ships of life and the unconditional love of the twins.

I teared up hard. Please continue to write beautifully.

the writer is talented in detailing the beautiful scenery and the culture of the bayou. she was able to.capture the essence of the people there. I only wished she would have made the story longer with more intrigue so I can get to know the characters more. I feel that the author is very talented and could accomplish this.
the narrators are exceptional! loved the accents.

the male narrators female voice really makes me feel like I can't breathe (not in a good way). the females voice was superb. I don't like the degree of male dominance in the main character. I felt like it was forced and fake.

The insecurity of the women in this book is unbearable, the men in this book seem to try too hard to be hardcore.
This girl was so ready to push her friend under the bus. Body shaming is in book is about unbearable. I can't believe how much this girl as so easily swayed into changing her personality to match what she believes is what a bad boy wants. she became like a bimbo coming to the end. I would not recommend this book to maturing girls who's self esteem is still fickle. If I could give this book a 0, I would.
