The storyline romance is a good one but undermined by a bad narrator. I would recommend the kindle version instead. The story is a steamy HEA with military heroes. Perhaps for future books of Dwyer the publisher will hire a better reader to do the book justice.

But life has never been kind to me, and I was naive to think that it would be different now. Story fell short on both near ration and seamless storyline. With Audible format the narrator’s voice or ability to project different characters is key. Unfortunately this narrator did not do a great job in conveying the story well. The story itself seems choppy at times a bit rushed even though it had a good premise. Not the best one of a ménage romance that I have read.

Ten seconds. That’s how long it took for me to decide that this early morning diner waitress was going to be the next lucky girl to hop onto my princely d*ck. Yeah, I was hungover as f*ck and still wearing last night’s tuxedo, but that’s never exactly been a problem. Most of the time I don’t even have to ask. His Royal Hardness has a reputation that precedes the rest of me, though not by much - and girls from all over the kingdom and just dying for a ride. Not her. This girl runs away, and I’m left standing there like an *sshole.

You can never go wrong with a Cinderella story unless you have for female narration. The mail narrator was great as a princess but I could not get past the acting of the female narrator. The story is typical Cinderella and it is enjoyable but they need to reconsider using the voice actress. Too Whitney.

If you've never saddled up with a few Vanessa Vale cowboys, now is your chance! Welcome to Steele Ranch, where the men are hot, dominant, and know what they want. For Cord Connolly and Riley Jamison, that's sexy and sinfully sweet Kady Parks. The Philadelphia schoolteacher discovers she's the heir - along with half-sisters she didn't know existed - to the Steele fortune, including a real-life cattle ranch. Instead of spending her summer break at home, she's in Barlow, Montana. And the West is as wild as she imagined.

This romance is sweet and sexy. Good male character and nicely paced story. The female character is the first one that readers can identify as 'plus size' in this series. Love it! She's likeable, funny, and sweet. However, she is very insecure to the point of neurotic and at times it is tedious to hear the character's endless negative thoughts. This trait undermines the strength she portrays throughout the story. Is this the best love story in the series? No, but it does bring back another great couple from Book 5 that are a nice foil to these lovers.

I am truly enjoying this series and hope that Audible will be able to release Book 4 since this is the 3rd time readers of this series revisit this alien race. The narration by both Audrey Conway and BJ Pottsworth, as always, solid and sexy. Only drawback to this storyline is that it seems to be a prequel for the Interstellar Bride Series. In books 1 and 2, the program has been functioning for some time and this timeline has the aliens making first contact with earth. The reader needs to fill in the blanks by themselves with information given throughout the story. It's an enjoyable quick read that keeps one waiting for the next audible installment of the series.

Easy enjoyable read/listen. Audrey Conway and BJ Pottsworth continue to give solid good performances for this series. I enjoy hearing the passion they bring to the characters and the varied voices to represent supporting characters in this books and the others in the series. Again, this story is spirited, sexy, and at times sentimental.

Overall, the story fell flat. It had potential to be a decent SciFi romance but it was not a compelling enough storyline. Trying to tie in sexy moments with action seemed awkward and confrontations didn't have the build up to make it believable. The narrator did a nice job but this story is a very pale attempt to blend steamy romance with shades of Logan's Run and a Brave New World.

Let me say upfront that Sebastian York, as always, delivered a great performance. However, not even his sexy-as-sin voice could save this story from being a predictable bore. I've read and enjoyed other Lauren Blakely romances but this is not one of her better ones. I felt as though I was listening to a Lifetime Channel movie. Blakely's writing was lazy and trite. However, if you want fluffy, so-sweet-it-hurts-your-teeth romance, this is the book.
