Although less salacious (still juicy), this book is much easier to follow than Fire and Fury.

This story had a lot of potential, but none of the main themes were ever resolved. I would not have purchased this title had I known there would be such an extended and crass discussion of lesbianism. So much of the book was dedicated to the death of one character. The book's only redeeming quality was the wonderful performance by Adjoa Andoh which I enjoyed as usual. I have never experienced this problem before, but some parts of the recording were repeated.

I enjoyed this book more than I expected to. I particularly enjoyed the "young love" elements of the story. However, I found it strange that the protagonist was unfamiliar with popular aspects of American culture, such as Thanksgiving dinner. In terms of performance, Robin Miles is a great narrator; it was absolutely amazing the way she brought each character to life.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Laura Hanna?

No, I did not enjoy her performance.

Was Woman at Point Zero worth the listening time?

It took me a very long time to finish because I did not enjoy it that much.

Any additional comments?

I had wanted to read this story for several years now, but in the end it was not exactly what I had expected. The last two chapters were the best part of the book in my opinion. Perhaps I would've had a better experience with this book in the Kindle format.
