Pete’s had a thing for Jenna for years. Jenna’s had a thing for Pete for years. So what’s the hold up? Well, Jenna is only a summer girl at Seaside, and Pete’s not exactly what he appears to be. This is a sweet story about two people who finally wake up, their friends, family and Seaside. The third book in this series, it’s definitely worth the read. You’ll enjoy the escapades, the fun and the friendships. And if you’ve read the first two in the series, you’ll catch up with old friends while you make new ones.

Melissa Moran does a great job narrating this story. She has the characters down pat, and it's easy listening.

World-renowned mountain climber and nature photographer Ty Braden never believed in second dates, much less heart-pounding, steal-his-breath love. But that was before a trip to Saint-Luc, where he met funny, strong, and entrancingly beautiful Aiyla Bell, a ski instructor and fellow photographer whose hopes and dreams, and love of the outdoors, aligned perfectly with his - and whose kisses alone turned him inside out.

Ty Braden is a thrill seeker, photographer (I’m talking National Geographic here), and quite the lady’s man, if his reputation is accurate. He never thought of settling down with one woman until he met Aiyla Bell. She is an adventurer, and she’s also a photographer (of older faces around the world). They spent five amazing days together in Saint Luc, but agreed to let fate decide if they would meet again. Fate plays a big part in this story. Ty and Aiyla do meet again, and as any good romance novel dictates, they fall in love. But that’s not all there is to this story. In fact, that’s pretty much the beginning. All it takes is one life changing event…

Melissa Foster has written another wonderful, hot, heart-wrenching, love filled story that will make you believe in fate and the forever kind of love that seems so rare these days. When you read this story, be prepared to feel all the feels, cry the tears, laugh and love right along with the Bradens. This story runs so much deeper than most. Grab it and enjoy the ride!

B.J. Harrison narrates the audio version of this story so well. His voice and inflections so clearly bring this story to life. My imagination was pretty good when reading the book, but hearing someone else read it put a whole new spin on the story for me. Such a good one!

Bella Abbascia has returned to Seaside Cottages in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, as she does every summer. Only this year, Bella has more on her mind than sunbathing and skinny-dipping with her girlfriends. She's quit her job, put her house on the market, and sworn off relationships while she builds a new life in her favorite place on earth. That is, until good-time Bella's prank takes a bad turn and a handsome police officer appears on the scene. Single father and police officer Caden Grant left Boston with his 14-year-old son, Evan, after his partner was killed in the line of duty. He hopes to find a safer life in the small resort town of Wellfleet, and when he meets Bella during a night patrol shift, he realizes he's found the one thing he'd never allowed himself to hope for - or even realized he was missing.

Bella and her friends have been summering at Seaside since she was a kid. She’s a teacher without a school (she quit her job after dating and being dumped by another teacher); a curvy, fun-loving girl with a penchant for pulling pranks, and an idea that could land her a year-round job in her favorite place. Caden is a cop. He and his teenage son have moved to Seaside to put some distance from danger into their lives. Caden recently lost his partner and wants a slower pace. Bella and Caden have chemistry, but neither is looking for a relationship. Oops! They have one!

This is a fun story with lots of hijinks and lessons to be learned. Lots of sweet, only a little steam, and a really good story. Read this and enjoy!

Update - I listened to the audio version of this story - Melissa Moran does a good job with the voices and reads the story well. Nice for that long car ride!

Rafe Blackstone may play the sexiest werewolf superhero to ever melt a woman's...heart...on the big screen, but Lily Hollander has already been bitten once by an actor, and once was enough. When she's fooled all over again, it's time to put that wayward heart in lockdown mode, especially once Rafe starts aiming his overprotective streak at her identical twin. Lily may seem like the softer side of the twinship, but nobody messes with her sister.

I got caught up in this story right away. Lily and Rafe were going to get together, but the conflicts were good (including an ex and a bear); there were lots of laughs (learning to ride, goat milking, etc.); a few tears, and a kid and a dog. You can’t go wrong with that! Rosalind James has written a gem. With settings from Montana to Australia, her descriptions paint such beautiful pictures that you can “see” every scene and wish you were there. This book is a stand-alone. It’s Lily and Rafe’s story. However, if you’ve read Guilty as Sin, you’ll enjoy revisiting characters and understand more of the backstory. I enjoyed this one.

I received a free copy of the audio version of this story (after I had bought and read and reviewed the kindle version). The review for the audio version is the same as the written version, except for the next couple of sentences. This is my opinion of the audio version. I was not compensated for this review, and this review is mine alone. It's wonderful. Emma Wilder does a great job with the voices. Very enjoyable on a long car ride!

Having a mad crush on her boss's son, Matt Lacroux - an intriguing mix of proper gentleman and flirtatious bad boy - is probably not the smartest idea for single mother Mira Savage. Especially when the company, and her job, is already on shaky ground. But as a Princeton professor, Matt's life is hours away from Mira's home on Cape Cod, keeping him safely in the fantasy-only zone. And as a single mother to six-year-old Hagen, with a floundering company to save, fantasies are all she has time for.

What’s a professor to do when he realizes he won’t be promoted to dean? Take a sabbatical to write a book, of course. And this is what’s brought Matt Lacroux back to the seaside area. He wants to write his book, but he can’t help being the hero and helping anyone and everyone. He falls for Mira, who has a mind of her own as well as a young son.

I’ve read several books by this author and have always enjoyed the books in her Seaside series. This book is no exception. The story moves at a good pace with plenty of backstory and visits from past characters. It’s almost like a homecoming in some scenes, but the book can totally be read as a stand-alone.

Who knew that libraries could be so cool? From libraries to co-ops, to building a raft, this story will make you want to have fun and maybe do some guy things (in kidspeak).

B.J. Harrison does an outstanding job voicing the characters in the audio version. He's smooth and his voices are believable. Enjoyable.

Best-selling author Kurt Remington lives to write. He spends 12 hours a day in front of his computer, rarely leaving the seclusion of his beach-front property, where he's come to finish his latest thriller - that is, until free-spirited Leanna Bray nearly drowns in the ocean trying to save her dog. Kurt's best-laid plans are shot to hell when he comes to their rescue. Kurt's as irritated as he is intrigued by the sexy, hot mess of a woman who lives life on a whim, forgets everything, and doesn't even know the definition of the word organized.

Marko Sendoa isn't a beach man. He's not an Auckland man. He's a hard man. Born Basque, raised in the heart of New Zealand's Southern Alps, and bred on hard work, discipline, and getting the job done. It's not easy for a rugby flanker to make it to age 32 at the top of his game, but he's done it. Next year is the Rugby World Cup, and he'll do whatever it takes to be on the field in the black jersey when the anthems are sung. He doesn't need a kitten. He doesn't need a pregnant cousin. He definitely doesn't need a too-short, distractingly curvy, totally unimpressed Maori barista.

Emma Wilder did a splendid job creating Marko and Nyree's world. Her smokey voice and spot-on accents brought this truly special story to life. I loved the story and the audio just enhanced it. Enjoy!!!

My original review:

Marko is a tough man raised in the New Zealand Alps. He’s also a rugby player and a steady family type. Maybe that’s why his niece chooses to run away to him when she finds herself pregnant. Way out of his depth, Marko hires Nyree to move in and help out, especially when he’s out of town with the team. Nyree is an artist and photographer, and she is so not Marko’s type.

Rosalind James has written another winner! When I realized this was another installment in the Escape to New Zealand series, I was ready for past characters and a fun story. This is so much more – a fun read with a good storyline and lots of quirks. Pookie and Precious, colors, and a tiny grey kitten – you’ll never forget them.

Get this one and plan for lots of feels. This one is truly special!

Identical twins. Switching places. When I was a kid, I always thought this would be so cool. As it turns out, in Sinful, Montana, Paige and Lily switch places and it’s not so cool. Lily doesn’t want to sell her property to a big developer, and it’s gone way past bullying. So, Paige (a cop) steps in to find who’s messing with Lily.

Jace is a thriller writer and former member of the Australian Special Forces, who has a crazy stalker. Lily sees him as intimidating, and he’s not exactly thrilled to have her as a neighbor. Then he meets Paige (as Lily) and my how things change!

Rosalind James has a way of writing characters that bring you into the story and don’t let go. I really enjoyed Paige and Jace, Lily, and even Tobias. The story has twists and turns, laughter and heat, and that twin thing. Sinful, Montana might just be the place to be. Get there!
