Forget everything you know about the world. Vampires exist, Werewolves exist, monsters hide in the shadows, and it's my job to make sure they obey our laws. My name is Evelyn, and I'm a gargoyle. The last one or so I thought. A team of Gargoyles have found me. And for the first time in over a century, I'm not the only one of my kind around, which is a good thing since demons are slipping into this world fully formed.

This was an exceptional story. The main character is fierce, loyal and good hearted...Cannot wait for the next book to come out. I would recommend this author and this book to anyone who enjoys a paranormal romance that is realistic, plausible with enough action and steamy love scenes that balance each other out harmoniously. 5 stars!!!

And not my typical genre choice. I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. I loved the fact that the lead character (Amy) was a strong, good humored, considerate woman. Not a whiny, feel pity on me, can't live without him type female. Her tenacious spirit and strength in her self was the cherry on top of this story.
Wonderful narration and story line. A must read for any one who wants to experience a wide range of emotions all tactfully arranged with a sassy yet poignant humor. An absolute feel good book. And everyone knows; "Anything worth having, doesn't come easy."

I crawled into Ryan Jensen’s bed that first night by accident. I barely knew him. I thought it was his sister’s bed - her room. It took seconds to realize my error, and I should've left... I didn’t. I didn’t jump out. I didn’t get embarrassed. I relaxed. And that night, in that moment, it was the only thing I craved. I asked to stay. He let me, and I slept. The truth? I never wanted to leave his bed. If I could've stayed forever, I would have. He became my sanctuary. Because - four hours earlier - my twin sister killed herself.

This book was typical of Tijan's writing style and based on high school aged kids, but it was not her typical style of spoiled, over indulgent children with daddies black amex cards. The writing was serious, the subject intense, the struggle, therapy and hurdles were real and not made lightly. Truly one of her better bookd by far. I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a girl meets boy, boy has morals and values, girl has some issues but so does the boy and together without harming the other - they come out from the darkness into the light.

I absolutely LOVE these three books. The sarcasm, wit and struggle these immortals have on their way to "wholesome life choices" and the methods they take "towards recovery" is symbolic of a 90 day sobriety program. The delivery of sass and seriousness is perfect. They should make a movie or tv series from these books!!! WAY BETTER THAN TWILIGHT!!

For there to be light, you must first suffer the darkness. The end came at me jagged and skewed like puzzle pieces to a game I didn't know I was playing. Iniquitous is the heart-pounding third installment in The Marked saga, a fast-paced YA paranormal romance that grapples with love, loss, and self-discovery in a unique supernatural world filled with vampires, witches, shifters, and angels.

Glenn Holloway's predictable life ended the day he confessed his homosexuality to his family. As if that wasn't enough, he then poured salt in the wound by walking away from the ranch he'd grown up on, to open the restaurant he'd always dreamed of. Without support from his father and brother, and too proud to accept assistance from anyone else, he had to start from scratch. Over time things worked out. Glenn successfully built a strong business, created a new home, and forged a life he could be proud of.

I love this series. Absolutely love the characters and the narrator. But this third installment seemed rushed. (That's my only complaint). The book in itself could have been longer and more descriptive overall, which would have made the story not seem so rushed. Otherwise, as stated previously; I love this series!! Worth the read.
