This book had a genuinely interesting premises the idea of an entire country whith enslaved magic users had many interesting Directions it could have gone A painfully contrived love at first sight unhealthy relationship was not one of them what writing that isn't flat out bad Is so Bland and safe That you would have a more interesting time Reading a 12 page legal document about traffic violations this book is just bad. a painful Twilight Like romance with an even more unhealthy relationship if that's possible Just stay away you'll be happier

I've been seeing a lot of bargain-bin litrpg books recently but this is not one of them you can see that the author honestly cares about what he's writing And the narration by Jeff hays Is phenomenal But what I really enjoy is that the author sticks to the idea show don't tell giving you glimpses of what's to come without going into a information dump that breaks up the story and takes away from character development I only have minor complaints and very few of those so if you're looking for a good book I suggest you choose this one

so much fun!

I do not see myself as a prude but It's been hard recently to find good fantasy books that aren't dripping with foul language sex and overall angst. But I feel as if the other half of fantasy novels are overly simplistic and Unengaging but this author excel's at writing a fun humorous action packed story that you can read as an adult and not feel like you're being talked down to this is by no means A children's book But I wouldn't be incredibly self-conscious about having a child listening to this book with me

This book suck all the joy I had for this series agonizingly slows development taking all the interesting concept from the last book and shoving them in the corner to deal with a painfully awkward and stilted romance And cheap power Fantasy that I can't remember asking for So if I have to summarize this book in three words it would be slow boring and unfulfilling.Which is sad because I genuine Like the first book and the second book was tolerable but wow Was the ball dropped on this one
