The practice of interfaith - of different faith communities communicating and cooperating with each other - is nothing new. However, the nature of interfaith activity, and the thinking of those who have an interfaith mindset, stretch well beyond mere talking together and aiming to get along. Interfaith has become a powerful force for change during recent years.

I loved listening to Understanding Interfaith. This very well may be a huge movement in the world today as I hope people from all faiths become more tolerant of others' beliefs and faiths. I've not acedemically but in my personal time studied the five major religions but as I'm older and wiser I now understand that there are way more than just those five. There's spiritualism, humanism, and many other paths but each person has their own path. This audiobook discusses this topic without being preachy. It's not intended to be that way. It's informative and thought provoking and perhaps meant to give a better understanding about the true meaning of Interfaith. I have attended a UU (Unitarian Universalist) Church in the past with friends and loved it. The author mentions Thomas Merton in this book and I've listened to books by him before as well. This was an excellent listen and I might add very relaxing.

I am so glad Clive Johnson does his own narration. His voice is calming and I could listen to him all day. This was an outstanding listen for me.

The Princess and the Pea is a book I remember when I was a child. It was one of my favorites. I liked the retelling of it and I have a granddaughter who would like it as well. The age group of this being up to or around 4 is perfect for the length of the audiobook

I enjoyed that Clive Johnson narrated his own audiobook. That's always a bonus for me. Job well done!

I ehjoyed listening to The Complete Metabolism Diet. I think this could really boost my metabolism. The recipes were delicious sounding and seemed easy to follow. The lasagna pesto sounded good as well as the eggplant recipe. I've eaten it most of my life although I'd never heard it called an abergine before. Now that I know, that's a recipe that I'll try soon. I'm also a huge advocate for ginger. I'd love to try this diet. I think it's more of a lifestyle change than a diet though. It's healthy foods that are good and good for you.

Alyssa Fuhman's narration was good. She has such a sweet voice. She spoke slowly and clearly to make these easy to follow. I like going by recipes by ear rather than having to stop and read then re-read them. It's perfect.

The Great Book of Rock Trivia was an excellent listen. I couldn't turn it off. This audiobook was loaded with fun facts about rock and roll and how it began and meandered through the decades with all the quirky things that artists did or didn't do, said or didn't say and clarified rumors that have been around for years. It also included some multiple choice qeustions and answers in between chapters to further engage the listener.

I loved it as it was a trip down memory lane for me. Many of these bands and people I was fortunate enough to have seen during the 70's and 80's, and maybe even the early 90's. A few of my favorites were without a doubt Queen, Jethro Tull, Fleetwood Mac, Heart, Metallica, and so many others I can't recite them all here. I love that this book made mention of the Texas Jam. Being from the Dallas area, this was huge back then.

Bill O'Neill nailed it with this audiobook. I loved it. It was fun, informative, and I'd recommend this all day.

Scott Miller did an outstanding job narrating. He had the perfect voice for this audiobook. He read it with enthusiasm which made it even more enjoyable.

The Complete 5:2 Fast Diet Recipe Cookbook had some fabulous recipes. These are healthy, fairly easy and fairly quick recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even dessert. I listened to this after dinner while sitting at my kitchen table and wrote a few down. I made a mental note of the fact that I actually have many of the ingredients and I pictured myself preparing a few of these dishes while listening to this audiobook and I must say that it seems like it would be fairly easy to follow without written recipes. I don't like to stop to read recipes therefore this makes it simple. I 100% plan to try a few of them tomorrow.

A few recipes that I liked the best were berry french toast, buckwheat pancakes, tomato crisp breads, zuccini pizzas, turkey burgers, sweet potato bowl, strawberry granola, and fruit salad. If those few right there don't make you hungry then I don't know. They sound fab to me and there are a whole lot more.

The narration by Catherine O'Conner was pretty good. She spoke very clearly, she gave the ingredients and the instructions perfectly and I will have no problem following.

I loved listening to Tunnel Rats. This was a straight through listen for me. An excellent thriller, Tunnel Rats was non-stop action without being overdone. Right from the start it had me hooked. The setting was great with some historical references to POW's of the Korean and Viet Nam wars. But getting to the story, it was exciting with well-developed characters, especially Sam Savage. Now his last name Savage might sound a little cliche but it works so well. As an air marshal/ CIA operative his character was strong but on the other hand subtle. I also liked the supporting characters which there were only a few but Cindy was good. The character Cinny however was sinister. This audiobook worked for me and at the end it mentioned some other books written by award winning author Vincent Zandri that I'd love to listen to.

Andrew B. Wehrlen's narration was spot on. He had the perfect voice for Sam Savage. He was Sam Savage. He had the right voice inflections which made it sound as if he were telling you a story from his own experience. I would definitely recommend this audiobook.

This is the story of a history and tradition as long and complex as any major religion and far older than most. Humanism has traced a conceptual path around Eurasia, holding onto remnants of each place. Today, part of humanism is the spiritual path trod in India, the ethics born in Confucianist China, and the legal system that came forth in medieval Islam. Secular humanism has hidden much of this history from us. This audiobook aims to redress the balance by exploring humanism's path from China, through India, the Middle East, Northern Africa, and finally, Europe.

Humanism: The Untold Tale was an excellent listen. It was thoughtful and thought-provoking and made me realize that things are far bigger than myself and what I know or have known or been taught. I agree that humanism isn't science-based. This audiobook takes you through the ancient past to the truth of humanism. It's highly detailed and comprehensive. Worthy of five stars. I look forward to a book two on this topic. Very interesting.

Chirag Patel again narrates beautifully. He's easy to follow and understand.

Absurd-but-True Animal Stories was indeed what the title says. They were interesting and animals are so funny in whatever they do. I love animals so much as they give unconditional love. It was a nice collection compiled by Kyla Colby. I wish it had been longer. There were a few stories I enjoyed more than others but all were pretty cute.

Jeanie Talbot's narration was okay albeit at times a little raucous to the point it was distracting. This was only with a few stories. She had a great voice when she wasn't over inflecting. I'd still listen to both author and reader.

Growth was a great educational, informative listen. Everything in this audiobook was spot on. It improves health, especially in the elderly. Physical as well as mental. Children of all ages can learn a lot from gardening. I learned things I didn't know about water and soil and insects. I've had a difficult time growing the things I want in my climate and I think this will help.

I love Chirag Patel's books and even listening to him although at first I had to listen closely. He has a nice voice and I like when an author is able to read his own work. Well done!

Self Care: Love Yourself was sooo good. It was just over an hour but as he said, there's no filler. It's all good. If someone is looking for a place to start just for themselves for the new year, this is it. For various reasons people sometimes forget to take care of themselves. Perhaps they think they're too busy or perhaps they think they're unloved but whatever the situation, one must love and take care of theirself. After all, the only person you need to impress is yourself.

This audiobook outlines different things a person can do to begin exploring ways of taking time for themselves. An example that's mentioned is learning a new language such as Italian. One might think they could never do this but they can. Or they can at least try. it's about making you feel good about yourself. Taking the time to be who you are and do what makes you happy.

This was an excellent listen by Aston Sanderson.

Randal Schaffer did an outstanding job narrating. he had a soft compassionate tone that was relaxing.
