Although there was some information on this trilogy that I knew, there was a bunch of tips that really could make a great impact on my coaching business. There's a little something for everyone new to coaching through an established coach....depending on the models you use. Great read. I do recommend it.

I really enjoyed the story of this man's journey. I laughed a number of times because I could easily relate to many of his spiritual struggles and hoping someone had an answer for odd experiences that were had to really only come up with this idea that possibly no on truly knows.

He did an excellent job narrating his own book. There was a natural flow that sucks the listener in and really makes a person crave the next sentence. Very good listen!

I like the portions about being yourself and not making a man your whole world. I also like the parts where he identifies behaviors of the absolute non-committal guys. I just don't think that the games are necessary. ignoring text messages and changing yourself from one extreme to the next each day. I'm an adult, levels of predictability are sexy in a partner. I agree that sometimes it may be necessary to show in one way or another that the relationship isn't permanent under various circumstances, but I feel like a lot of that happens organically and should be common sense from your partner. I don't think I would have a shred of respect for a guy who manipulates a woman's emotions just for sex nor would I care to be with a guy who does exactly as little as he has to to make it work with me. and the idea of getting involved in his life is nice to a degree, but I don't believe that doing everything together is healthy either. Here and there it's nice to help out or be helped...but he can sure wait to clean house or tinker on the car til his girlfriend leaves sometimes. Overall, I rated this at a 3 because there were good tips and it does push women to be a little more independent, but if they have to do it with games...they're fooling themselves. They need to work on their self esteem and value themselves more, not put on airs as though that were the case. It's easy to get a guy who isn't what you want and games will sure keep him if he's immature. I'm not sure who would really want to take a relationship to an exhausting second job of manipulation. It's better to be alone and be yourself and look for a partner that's worth your spare time.

I liked the book and the enormous amounts of information provided. The majority of the narrative is historical references to the authors experiences. The last chapter discusses the technique, however, the narrator does not read the supplemental script that would be in the actual book. They can be purchased through the authors website or by buying the book. This is why I gave the audio book only 4 stars. I purchased the book to utilize the tools of meditation not just to ingrain the efficacy of it in my head.

Codependent No More was the debut book of bes-tselling author Melody Beattie. Beattie's book became a phenomenon of the self-help movement, selling over eight million copies, six million of them in the United States. According to Bettie, codependency in relationships results from our desire to rescue people. She believes that this desire is counter-productive, and that our efforts to rescue people might actually do more harm than good, both for ourselves and our loved ones.

no actual techniques were given to eliminate codependency etc. basically just a think about your own behaviors and identify what you're doing to promote the situation and identify what triggers the response. I feel like although, that's a mindful way of going about it...there's enormous room for error and long term confusion.

I thought this book was very informative and really bridged the gap of our normal concepts of psychosomatic illness and how very natural and common it is. I will have to listen again because I found myself lost in thoughts that were provoked by the writing. I missed portions of the techniques that were outlined more than one time. if you have ANY ailment that modern health has failed to resolve or even aggrivated, listen to this book. its worth a shot.
