Kaeleigh and Raeanne are 16-year-old identical twins, the daughters of a district court judge father and politician mother running for U.S. Congress. Everything on the surface seems fine, but underneath run very deep and damaging secrets. When the girls were nine, Daddy turned to his beloved Kaeleigh in ways a father never should. Raeanne needs to numb the pain of not being Daddy's favorite; Kaeleigh wants to do everything she can to feel something normal, even if it means cutting herself and vomiting after every binge.

Ok so I had high hopes for this book. I'm disappointed. The narrator did well at telling the story but the story itself is not at all what I thought. I literally said wtf out load when we got to the big reveal of what's going on in the story. I was ready to call it quits but thought it should get better. OMG! Wrong again. I wasted money on this book because I didn't have a credit for the month yet☹️

General Travis Bains has two daughters, one who is good and one who is bad. Everyone knows Lindsey is the good one, and Jessie is the bad one. Jessie Bains is the other sister, the bad sister, which she has proven more often than not until the day she gets kidnapped and brutally raped. Will Hendricks, one of her father's soldiers, rescues her and brings her home but fears she may be nearly destroyed by what has been done to her. The most important thing, however, is that no one can know.

So I questioned if this would be a good book or not and I figured if I hated it I could swap it for something else. OMG! This story is so good I couldn't stop listening to it. This book had me rooting for Jessie to win. With each chapter I felt more connected to the characters. Definitely an awesome book that I will listen to again!

Seventeen-year-old Amelia Gannon (just "Gannon" to her friends) is invisible to almost everyone in her life. To her parents, to her teachers - even her best friend, who is more interested in bumming cigarettes than bonding. Some days the only way Gannon knows she is real is by carving bloody lines into the flesh of her stomach. Then she meets Michael Brooks, and for the first time she feels like she is being seen to the core of her being.

The story was good and the narrator did an excellent job with putting the right emotions into words as she read. I was pulled all the way into this book until the end.
