Overeating, binge eating, obesity, anorexia, and bulimia: Food Junkies tackles the complex, poorly understood issue of food addiction from the perspectives of a medical researcher and dozens of survivors. What exactly is food addiction? Is it possible to draw a hard line between indulging cravings for "comfort food" and engaging in substance abuse? For people struggling with food addictions, recognizing their condition - to say nothing of gaining support and advice - remains a frustrating battle.

The narrator of this book made this book even more boring. If you want a book on this subject choose "For Women Only" and "For Men Only" and they discuss all of the points in this book and more in a much better way.

Have your husband read "For Men Only" and the wife reads "For Women Only" at the same time. These books do a fantastic job of telling us bluntly what we are not understanding about the opposite sex. You will have so many ah-ha! moments while reading this. It completely changed our marriage. My husband I have not fought since we read these books about 4 months ago because we have such a better understanding of eachother.

Something scary is happening to boys today. From kindergarten to college, they are less resilient and less ambitious than they were a mere 20 years ago. Fully one-third of men ages 22 to 34 are still living at home with their parents, about a 100 percent increase in the past 20 years. Boys nationwide are increasingly dropping out of school; fewer are going to college. Family physician and research psychologist Dr. Leonard Sax presents practical solutions.

I really loved this book and hung on to every word even though its non fiction. It's easy to listen to and Dr. Sax makes excellent, believable points backed up by studies. As a parent to a little boy and also as a person who has witnessed the phenomenon that he is talking about, I found this book easy to get into and leaving me with several convictions about how I will parent my son.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I enjoyed it for what it was but it was so redundant - making the same point over and over. It left you confused about whether it was supposed to be a professional book or whether I was even supposed to be reading it as a normal person.

What other book might you compare Snakes in Suits to and why?

none

Would you listen to another book narrated by Todd McLaren?

Yeah - he was a good narrator

Was Snakes in Suits worth the listening time?

Not at all. Save your time, google what the characteristics of a psychopatch are, and get a different book
