The dead talk - to the right listener. They can tell us all about themselves: where they came from, how they lived, how they died, and, of course, who killed them. Forensic scientists can unlock the mysteries of the past and help serve justice using the messages left by a corpse, a crime scene, or the faintest of human traces.

As someone who has always taken an interest in crime and forensics, I really enjoyed this book. I thought that I knew quite a bit about this topic but I absolutely learned a lot! The story is easy to follow - the author features true crime stories as examples and to make points about both the downfalls & achievements in forensic science methods.

My only complaint is when the narrator is quoting someone else, she tries to lose the Scottish accent and her voice becomes very nasal sounding and just cringe-worthy in general.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

This book is mostly comprised of stories about the authors friends and patients and how the "clean gut diet" changed their lives. I was hoping for more factual information. I did learn a few things but it wasn't exactly what I was expecting

Would you recommend Clean Gut to your friends? Why or why not?

If you are interested in trying the Clean Gut Diet; you do get the PDF file with this Audible book which includes the list of supplements, foods you can and cannot eat, recipes etc. I plan to try it out next month. I read Gut by Giulia Enders and preferred it. Gut is more matter-of-fact information rather than personal story telling without a lot of scientific explanation

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Yes

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

No

Any additional comments?
