Charlie Keefe is not just your typical dog lover - he's a world famous dog painter, a.k.a. "The Picasso of Pooch Portraits". Unfortunately, Charlie's beloved muse Pete, his lovable Jack Russell terrier, has just died. So, after months of suffering over his dearly departed soulmate and wondering if he ever made it to The Rainbow Bridge, Charlie reluctantly agrees to foster a new puppy - a cute Cavalier King Charles named Brownie from the local animal shelter.

I found this book unique in style. Enjoyable, funny and engaging. Narration was great, too

Nice book. About horses ( who doesn't enjoy a book about them) Interesting story, soothing narrative. Just totally a pleasure. I hated that it ended.

When the bookshop next to the Honeybee Bakery hosts a signing for a Savannah radio celebrity's new self-help book, magical baker Katie Lightfoot is happy to provide some delectable desserts. The whole spellbook club is going to the event, curious about the book (and maybe to sample some goodies), but the final chapter comes too soon for the author when she is found dead at the event. The prime suspect is Angie Kissel, a former witch whose familiar was once Katie's own terrier, Mungo.

Narration? Not good

Hard to focus on the story, as every male character had the same, monatone drawl. Really started to make me cringe, so I did not enjoy at all.
