The narrator seemed to have trouble portraying women's voices in any tone other than whiny, which is not a character trait associated with many of the women in the book.

The addition of other voices for characters helps, but the main narrator needs to crack open a dictionary. Really, truly. At least there are no more of her cringeworthy attempts at an Aussie accent! The story itself is as amazing as ever.

I love the book and was excited to have it on audiobook, but the narrator needs a dictionary (pronunciation is painfully inaccurate) and a good ear canal cleaning. Her attempt at an Australian accent made me embarrassed for her. I happened to be cleaning a mirror when I first heard it and discovered what my "what-the-what?!" face looks like. (Not attractive.)
