Would you listen to Scourged again? Why?

Yes. I've always enjoyed re-listening to Keven Hearn's books and this book is no different.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Owen and Slow Mo. Any fan of the series probably loves all the standard characters, but as the series progresses it's been refreshing to have new character narrative. Owen and Slow Mo brought more of the same lovable character interactions that made Atticus and Oberon so enjoyable to follow.

What does Luke Daniels bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Luke Daniels is amazing. I have absolutely enjoyed his reading of this series and all of the character portrayals and voices.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. It's the end of a great series and you want to know how everything wraps up. It was never going to be long enough...

Any additional comments?

And it's done. I'm still in the first stages of grief and am in denial that we won't hear more tales from this universe. Maybe a novella? Tales of Granuaile? Revenge of The Squirrels? Give me more.

What disappointed you about Dead Ice?

Another addition to this long running series that is so far removed from what was originally great. Lazy plot. Gaping holes in logic per the Anita Blake universe... too many to list.

What could Laurell K. Hamilton have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Kill everyone and start over...

What would have made Jason better?

Anyone that has followed LKH this far knows the struggle that readers have gone through in hopes that the Anita Blake story line would return to it's former glory. This short story embodies everything that has gone wrong in the series. Whinny relationship story lines. No detective work. No good vs evil. SPOILER ALERT: It's nothing but a couple of hours of lover complaints and overly graphic group sex. Anita whipping out her metaphysical phallus to make sure everyone knows she's the best at everything, even girl on girl... The story of Anita is lost and as a early fan of the series I'm disappointed.

Where does A Hunger Like No Other rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

New to me author. Great story, amazing narrator, hot and steamy goodness! If you like other contemporaries of the genre: Jeannie Frost, Molly Harper, Patrica Briggs then I think this will be right up your alley. It's got a good story, some violence, great build up, and some wickedly good bawowchica wow wow.
