Bosch books have always been a favorite of mine and I enjoyed Connelly's debut Renee Ballard book, The Late Show. I think the Ballard/Bosch duo is dynamic! The story was fast paced and kept me interested all the way. I actually had a chuckle and a smile at the end, not just for the way it finished but for the books I know I will be waiting to devour!

Well written psychological thriller. Nice plot twists
Excellent narration! I definitely enjoyed how smoothly she delivered the author's words.

I found this storyline to be a bit contrived. Reacher goes in search of the owner of a pawned West Point class ring.

Great story. Harlan Coben writes wonderfully realistic dialogue with his customary acerbic edge. I also was impressed with this narrator's ability. He read with the feeling of the character and his reading flowed well unlike some other narrator's with their halting reading.

I like a good mystery as well as the next person. and I love Linwood Barclay stand-alone books. I I began the Promise Falls trilogy knowing, of course that it was a series. I did not know however, that the end of each book would leave you hanging REQUIRING you to get the next book in the series. I am disappointed with that tactic. I much preferred, for example, Steven Kong's Mr. Mercedes trilogy where you HOPED there would be more to the story and were excited when a second book with those great characters arrived on the bookstore shelf. Shame on you, Linwood Barclay.
As for narration, there were several reading errors. A couple of times the narrator called David Harwood David Horowitz and threw me off a bit there. Also in speaking to Lucy about putting her daughter, Crystal to bed, he called Crystal Lucy as well.

I am a die-hard fan of the Bosch series and this was a winner! Not so sure that I like Titus Welliver as narrator as much as Dick Hill or Len Carlou. He seems to not read ahead and has pauses or wrong inflections where sentences should flow.

This was the first book I tried by Stephen White. The only reason I got it on audio was because I couldn't get it for my Kindle. I wish I had just bought the paperback, then I could have skimmed over the boring parts of the story. Oh, wait, that would be all of it! This was truly painful to get through for the pitiful story and ending.

I am a HUGE fan of Lee Child AND Jack Reacher. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The story was shallow and could have been told in half the time.
