21 audio-guided sessions.

In a fast-paced world where it feels necessary to constantly push yourself, it's equally important to find time to incorporate moments of chill to create a balanced, healthy life. Like your physical muscles, you can strengthen your ability to be mindful with practice and patience.

Aaptiv's 21 Days of Guided Meditation program consists of 21 meditation classes led by tenured yoga and meditation teacher Jess Ray. The program focuses on a variety of meditative and spiritual practices and techniques. You'll release negativity, still the mind, and quiet the ego, as well as improve patience so you can feel more in control of your mind. Focus on internal growth through guided meditations and breathing exercises

You can take this program as many times as you wish as it's designed to be returned to whenever you need.

Please note: all Aaptiv audio-fitness programs, including those in your Audible library, will become unavailable after Sept 5, 2019.

I completed the 20 days after starting and stopping once and I'm glad I came back. Various breathing techniques explained and exercised in these sessions. I found myself getting in 2 to 3 sessions a day depending on work stress and that was very helpful. I plan to continue to pick sessions to revisit. This series is a great base for anyone interested in daily mindfulness.

This book was exactly what I was looking for and more for my spiritual journey. I know Stuart Wilde' s later work was a bit off and those pieces and years (2000s up until he passed away) were polluted perhaps by his use of Ayahuasca as a drug that can have affects similar to MDMA. However, this work and plenty of his works from the 80s and 90s still contain a pureness in the message. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water and miss out on this experience and opportunity to grow and evolve.

As a PhD student that skated through school on my intelligence and memory, I have been long overdue for a reality check and school performance reflecting my efforts. Barbara Oakley saves me from my myself with this resource to help me rewrite my habits. I'm excited and have been applying these tools in my minor concentration and MS in statistics coursework. This book should be required or given as a resource before undergraduate or graduate coursework at any institution.
My only critique: I wish she was the audible reader, as I think hearing a female voice in STEM is powerful for the rest of us making our way in our field.
