Power is changing. Private corner offices and management by decree are out, as is unquestioned trust in the government and media. These former pillars of traditional power have been replaced by networks of informed citizens who collectively wield more power over their personal lives, employers, and worlds than ever before. So how do you navigate this new landscape and come out on top?  Adam Grant, Wharton organizational psychologist, went to the World Economic Forum in Davos, the epicenter of power, and sat down with thought leaders from around the world, to find out.

i loved loved loved the 1st three books in the series. the 4th...it was a little hard not having the familiar characters, but Imriel was developed as a charcter very well and flawed and it had lots of the usual erotic touches and intrigue. This book...it felt almost like someone else wrote it. the story was very magical...with zero intrigue and scandal. It was a fantasy fairy tale with magical beings and a grand adventure that drug out way too long and some sex thrown in as an after thought. it just didnt work. i tried so hard to finish this book but i just couldnt. the new charcters were not developed enough to keep my interest like in the last book. not sure if i will risk bothering to try the next book.

wow. no idea this was just a history book. I thought there was going to be dialogue there is a whole story that could have been written about Ageon and the Targerrian conquering. This was a very disappointing shortcut to tell the story without actually telling the story. if you like story books you will love this. if you were wanting to get to know the characters of yesteryear, dont waste your credit, you wont get it here.

He believes that his life is a movie produced by God, that his mission is to become physically fit and emotionally supportive, and that if he succeeds, his happy ending will be the return of his estranged wife, Nikki. When Pat goes to live with his parents, everything seems changed: no one will talk to him about Nikki, and his new therapist seems to be recommending adultery as a form of therapy.

This book is packed with moments where you are so frustrated with the characters but also see how no matter what, any one can turn out to be not who they seemed. You see a character one way for a majority of the book, and then all of a sudden your feel I vs about them change. It's makes you really understand the same conflicting feelings of the characters. Very entertaining right up until the end. Just when you think it's over, it's not.
