Dr. Philip C. Plait sets the record straight on many modern hoaxes and myths. Appalled that millions of Americans don't believe in the moon landing, or that an egg stands on its end only on the vernal equinox, Plait hilariously spills the truth and informs us of scientific inaccuracies in our everyday vernacular.

Absolutely loved this book. So many simple, great space and science facts, fiction, and jokes.
As someone with a child, i will cherish the lessons learned. I have already begun giving lessons to my family, friends, and child.
Hopefully we get Mr. Plaits other book, "Death from the skies" soon.

Not bad but i feel like the author is selling me the whole way through. Felt like this book was a little on the shallow side. That being said, some of the info was really good and the tips are fairly easy to follow.

This book contains a lot of very technical information. There's lots of it that's easy to digest, but much of it requires a rewind and relisten to absorb. If you're serious about your health and really pay attention, this book has amazing information that is based on research and fact.
I listened to the audio book and then went and purchased the printed book for reference. It would be great if the author provided a .pdf reference for his vitamin recommendations and a few other items.
Overall it's an excellent listen. Just make sure to pay attention or you'll find yourself rewinding frequently
