It’s been said that you can’t love two men at the same time. You can’t split your heart, soul, and body in half. But I’m here to tell you, you can. Dylan Cole is like ice, sharp and unpredictable, the thunder inside a tumultuous storm. Smith Reid is warmth, soft and gentle, perfect like a sunny day. Both are mine. But I can have only one. There are two sides to this tale. I'm here to tell you mine. If you think this story is about a cheater, you couldn’t be more wrong.

This story was all over the place. I was NOT enjoying it initially because it hopped around between the characters without warning so I never really knew which character was speaking. The amount of twists and turns just kept coming and the insecurities of both MCs - Charlotte and Aaron were just down right annoying. I did find some enjoyment in the mystery of it all but not something I would scream about from the roof tops.

My friends want me to get laid. So much so that they plastered my ugly mug all over campus in bold printed letters: Are you the lucky lady who's going to break our roommate's cherry? Him: Socially awkward man with average-sized penis looking for willing sexual partner. You: Must have a pulse. He will reciprocate with oral. Text him at: 555-254-5551. The morons can't even spell. And the texts I've been receiving are what wet dreams are made of. But I'm not like these douchebags, no matter how hard they try to turn me into one.

Oh this was such a fun twist to the douchebag series!! In this book we don't actually follow a douchebag. Rhett is probably the sweetest, kindest, funniest, but also insecure character I have read before. He thinks he is unattractive and that no woman would want to date him; however, since he is a new transfer to the wrestling team at Iowa women are not his first priority. Laurel is this super sassy, independent, super model red-head that takes a dare from her cousin and starts a text war with Rhett after his cell phone number is plastered all over campus. Rhett and Laurel enjoy the challenge and dysfunction that they have with each other. In many ways the roles have been reversed for this series where Laurel is more of a douchebag than Rhett is, LOVED IT!! I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Being labelled a player never stopped me from being successful with women. Until I met Truly Harbury. Truly was the first girl who ever turned me down. And she might just be the first woman with whom I ever fall in love. When an emergency means she needs my help running her family’s charity, I’m happy to introduce her to the glitz and glamour of the London business world - taking her to dinners, coaching her through speeches, zipping up the sexy evening gown I helped her pick out. The more time we spend together, the more I want to convince her I’m not a man to avoid.

Oh so swoony and sugary sweet! This is my second Louise Bay book and I am just in love. Truly is the shy twin, the twin that was satisfied with working in the background but when she met Noah during her sister's wedding she allowed herself to feel beautiful. Although, Noah was used to getting the ladies so when Truly friend-zoned him, he accepted that they would be just friends. This was a slow burn that felt so good. There were some characteristics of both Noah and Truly that I wished they didn't have but in the end they really touch my heart. I did want more from Noah's backstory but what was provided it really did touch my heart. Being that this was an Audible Original it hasn't been released in print or ebook format and the narrators for both Truly and Noah were FANTASTIC!!!

This is the conclusion to Keisha and Tristan's journey to their love story which stared off very Fifty Shades-esques; however, it did end up taking a few twists and turns that were different. I enjoyed the suspenseful differences and the more in depth BDSM scenes. I like that the family dynamic was very different and the urban feel that was injected into this duology was not so over the top that it was stereotypical and annoying. There were still a few things that I didn't enjoy but overall once again this conclusion was addictive, keeping me engaged until the very end. It also leaves me wanting the second half to the four book series which is supposed to tell the story of Tristan's twin brother Nate and Jada's journey to their relationship.

Very much fan fiction or a massive play of the massively popular Fifty Shades of Grey with the few changes like Ana is now Keisha - a super strong black music business woman, Christian is now Tristan still white and a billionaire who partners with Keisha and Jada. Tristan is very much into the BDSM lifestyle and encourages Keisha to give the lifestyle a try. Luckily Keisha isn't a virgin but she does have two subconscious "fairies" that drive her narrative throughout the story. Both Keisha and Tristan have secrets that hinder their "relationship" and the end of the book does end on a similar cliffhanger. Even though I found myself rolling my eyes through some of this book I still found it VERY addictive.

This was a fun, sweet, with a little bit of sexy story. Ivy and Maze meet when they are vacationing and have an instant attraction; however, Ivy is a teenager and Maze is getting ready to move around the world then tragedy strikes. Maze and Ivy go their separate ways until Maze seeks out a reconnection with Ivy years later. Secrets are revealed and reconnections are made. He was someone who belonged in my wildest fantasies instead of a rest stop in the middle of Nebraska. A sexy, cocky Australian named Chance was the last person I expected to run into on my cross-country drive. When my car broke down, we made a deal. Next thing I knew, we were traveling together, spending sexually tense nights in hotels, and taking unplanned detours. My ordinary road trip turned into the adventure of a lifetime. It was all fun and games until things got intense.

I really enjoyed this road trip different world’s story. Aubrey and Chance meet in the middle of nowhere when karma steps in, forcing them to ride together on a new adventure for both of them. As their road trip gets underway hijinks ensure and they find that they have off the charts sexual chemistry. I loved the banter between Aubrey and Chance. I did have a few issues with the audiobook version during the second part of the story since I didn't feel that the male narrator for Chance embodied his character like the female narrator did in the first part. Overall, I would reread the story but I would refrain from listening to the story again.

I'm leaving you this note because I know you're very busy, and I don't want to waste the town sheriff's time. Lord knows I've already wasted enough of it. Thank you for taking me home last night and...everything else. I made you a basket of wild blueberry muffins for your trouble. That seemed like the appropriate baked good for getting naked in your living room. I wasn't myself last night. I didn't mean to kiss you or fondle your backside or ask all those intimate questions. Thank you for pretending to enjoy it.

Oh wow, I knew this was going to be Annette's story after she was rejected by Owen in Fresh Catch but what I wasn't expecting was all the extra characters from Talbot's Cove to join in making me want more from this small town in Maine!! Jackson is the new town sheriff and he has had his eye on Annette since he rolled into town. Annette as I said had her eye on Owen much of her life but really figured out that all the rumors of a "phase" were just not true. So this is where Annette and Jackson's journey begins with her getting tore up at the local bar and Jackson walking her home. This story is told in dual POV and I think this aspect makes the journey so much more! The steamy, sexy parts were off the chain and the sweet caring parts made my heart go pitter pat. I would really love another story about these characters in Talbot's Cove, especially Annette's BFF Brooke! She was absolutely hilarious!
