What could John Ringo have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

John Ringo can be brilliant or ridiculous depending upon the project. I think he does his best work when working with another author. Unfortunately this one went way outside the realm of plausible given the scenario (banks having medical research labs, concerts at the ende of the world in nyc etc). Unfortunately it was just a bit too much for me

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

dissapointment. The troy rising series is great though

With a career, a boyfriend, and a loving family, Piper Kerman barely resembles the reckless young woman who delivered a suitcase of drug money 10 years ago. But that past has caught up with her. Convicted and sentenced to 15 months at the infamous federal correctional facility in Danbury, Connecticut, the well-heeled Smith College alumna is now inmate #11187-424 - one of the millions of women who disappear "down the rabbit hole" of the American penal system.

What would have made Orange is the New Black better?

She spends 1/2 the book talking about how great she is and somehow everybody loves her no matter what.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Orange is the New Black?

I would cut the 2500 references to both her college and how she is so much more educated and intelligent than everyone else there.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No, I would be afraid they thought I was into some weird sexual fetishes. It started off very well, compelling and enthralling but the characters kept coming across these... interesting sexual situations and by the end it was a bit too much.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The beginnning, it started out with a good zombie tone, very well written then... changed.

Have you listened to any of Andrew McFerrin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is my first of his performances but I think he did a good job
