I am usually the critic when it comes to action, war, and romance all bound together. This author is wonderful!! If you love LOTR/fantasy/depth then I would highly suggest/recommend giving these books a try. The relationships are wonderfully and carefully built. I never knew what was going to happen next and that my dear friends is how a good book should be. This is my first review ever :) I think.

Atlanta would be a nice place to live, if it weren't for the magic. When the magic is up, rogue mages cast their spells and monsters appear, while guns refuse to fire and cars fail to start. But then technology returns, and the magic recedes as unpredictably as it arose. Kate Daniels works for the Order of Knights of Merciful Aid, officially as a liaison with the mercenary guild. Unofficially, she cleans up the paranormal problems no one else wants to handle - especially if they involve Atlanta's shapeshifting community.

I cannot stress how wonderful this series is. So underpriced for it's value. (Not complaining) Magic Bleeds is a mixture of action, adventure, love, trust, and fantasy. I would recommend this book to anyone with a taste for Urban Fantasy as well as lovers of Charlaine Harris and Kim Harrison. This series has no competition. Ilona and Gordon...a.k.a. Ilona Andrews..you have done it again. Wonderful work and wonderful narrator. I give it a 6 out of a 5.
