Thorn is back! The guilty will be punished. The war they dismissed as nonsense is now raging. Jen needs Thorn. The military want Thorn. Thorn is older and wiser, and he doesn't care what anyone wants. He has a better hold on his growing power, or so he thinks. The war calls, but there is unfinished business to attend to on the way. Unanswered questions lead in strange directions, and a war for no reason, is only part of the mystery. But through everything, Thorn carries two themes. The guilty will be punished, and there will be peace! Yesterday was just the start.

This is unbelievably horrible. I bought the first book and I thought this would be getting better because of the reviews , clearly it did not . The main character can do anything he feels like it’s any given time . The main character has zero limitations unless the author feels like he needs to add a hickup in a scenario . Which honestly ruins the story. There is zero interest in a book for me that has no struggle . Boring books , but there’s nothing wrong with the performance done by the narrator .

I don’t know how to explain it otherwise but horrible. The Marines are a bunch of wimps they get freaked out by stupid things that no marine would really . Most wouldn’t care about half of these problems if they were real marines. Frankly I feel is though this guy made the military and a bunch of wimps like him because no military would ever act this way. My big pet peeve’s is this; if your entire race is going to be obliterated from existence then why are you arguing with the race helping you out when they have nothing to gain? I mean if they saved your bacon even if you never knew they existed why are you complaining about how there are helping you? Are you seriously going to argue with somebody helping you?

I really try to get through this book but it’s junk the other needs to research material to make it believable specially along military ideas and concepts.

On the world called Hyperion, beyond the law of the Hegemony of Man, there waits the creature called the Shrike. There are those who worship it. There are those who fear it. And there are those who have vowed to destroy it. In the Valley of the Time Tombs, where huge, brooding structures move backward through time, the Shrike waits for them all.

I don’t really like books like this that have a tendency of trying to bash religious beliefs by twisting them. I feel as though if you’re going to write a space opera or drama story it should be something creative but not by twisting other things to do so. If you’re into that sort of thing this is probably the book for you.

Task forces are dispatched to Damara and Lesheera to begin the first human blockades of entire planets. With the only ships fast enough to quickly bring the fight to the enemy's doorstep, TFC must do so alone, leaving only minimal forces behind to safeguard the Earth.

This author Tori L. Harris is something else and is every space sci-fi junkie's dream. The books in this series just leave you guessing and thinking they will be predictable moments and yet go to a direction you want but not on the path you would assume which is wonderful.

Jeffrey Kafer's performance is damn near perfect that you really forget that hes even there. This is a goal that all narrators should desire to really make you drift off into the fantasy of the author's book.

WOW, really wow!!

Terran Fleet Command teeters on the edge of chaos in the aftermath of Chairwoman Crull's removal from power, while in space, Earth's defense falls squarely on the shoulders of Admiral Kevin Patterson. With only a small number of ships capable of bringing the fight to the enemy, he makes the bold decision to divide his forces, meeting the Resistance task force head-on at two separate locations.

What did you love best about Destroyer?

characters

Who was your favorite character and why?

Noan, there is a bit more than this but, because as he grows in experience he becomes more confident in leadership.

What about Ryan Kennard Burke’s performance did you like?

I forget he is a narrator somewhere in the book which make you focus on the story. Most of the time I notice the narrative throughout the story which can put a damper on the book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Nope no way that good. But, worth the money and I am going to get the next one.
