What is an elite NFL QB, and what separates that player from the others? One answer is the coach they share. In the recent history of the biggest game on earth, one man is the common thread that connects several of the very best in the sport: Peyton Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, Andrew Luck, and the resurgent Carson Palmer. That coach is Bruce Arians.

The technology likely to have the greatest impact on the future of the world economy has arrived, and it's not self-driving cars, solar energy, or artificial intelligence. It's called the blockchain. The first generation of the digital revolution brought us the Internet of information. The second generation - powered by blockchain technology - is bringing us the Internet of value: a new, distributed platform that can help us reshape the world of business and transform the old order of human affairs for the better.

If you're like me, simply wanting to continue your dive into the underlying technology of blockchain & it's possible implications- you might want to consider other avenues before investing your time & $ into this mess. Yes, there are a few interesting discussion points, especially in the early chapters. However, those points of interest are quickly overwhelmed by unnecessary barrages of politically charged opinions, and severely flawed logical fallacy presented time and again as fact.
I'm not sure if the Tapscotts are so consumed by politics that they are unable to author objective material, or if the aim all along was just to find some burgeoning tech, study it, & use it as a political platform/pulpit... either way, I set out to learn about blockchain, I now have a PhD in the Tapscotts political leanings (many of which I agree with btw, but if I wanted a political opinion book, I would have bought a political opinion book). ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿผ

I've been a skeptic of these "train your brain" books. The info inside unlimited memory actually "clicked" for me. & I love that Mr Horsely didn't add a pile of fluff just for the sake of running up the page count! He jumps right in & stays on course succinctly:)

....now I guess I just have to go out & practice
