I rally enjoyed the sidekick, he was simple and funny. He was very likable and my favorite character in the book. This a good Lit-rpg and worth a listen.

I really enjoyed the twist the story took and was happy with how it played out. it was very much like a side quest that pulled the character temporarily from the main story quest. The main character is some one whom you root for the whole ride.

I immediately started listening to this book after i finished the first. The story gets better and better. You get to learn more about the supporting characters and you really start to know and understand them. I even let my son start listing to the story and he thought it was great.

This is fresh perspective on the lit-rpg genre. It was done flawlessly and Jack Vorces is a great choice for a narrator. I couldn't stop listening to what would happen next.

The mysterious pilot was brought into the military hospital unconscious. The base didn't know who he was. Some thought he was an alien, some thought he was a Russian spy all because of the unknown, yet highly advanced airplane he was flying at the time of his crash.

Though the story was somewhat predictable it was a very enjoyable listen. I think this was a classic example of a good sci-fi. It was a fun ride and was sorry when it ended.

I was pulled into this story and it was a fun ride the whole time. I kept thinking on how everyone was going to make it out alive and what was really going on. The narrator was and excellent choice for this book and an added plus.

I enjoyed how brutal and tough the world became when things started falling apart. The torture and violence was over the top but honest to the story and frame. It was really good, especially since it takes place in Texas.

I enjoyed the different types of reapers there were in this book. Especially how there is an Alpha whom directs them and drive them towards a task. The narrator did a great job with the difference tones for each character.
