Meredith is home again, ready to settle down in her small town and open the antique shop she's always dreamed of owning. She's had enough of powerful men trying to use her and wants to simply fade away from the dating scene and enjoy life. When she runs into the diner's new owner, she quickly realizes her master plan might have been premature.

Meredith is very intelligent, quirky and has a heart of gold. She has had many bad things happen to her in her life but still goes out of her way to make sure everyone she loves is happy. You cannot dislike her. She is a person that is inherently good.

We meet Landry in the diner and he is the new owner. He immediately is in sync with her oddities and the are instantly comfortable with each other. He does make me mad a few times by the mixed signals he keeps sending to Meredith but he is a good guy.

I loved seeing how they met each other and other important people in the other person's life before coming together. They both have known loss but reacted in a different way. It made them stronger as individuals.

You are pulled in to their world and want to be a part of it. It makes you laugh, cry, and some times scream. Sarah Van Sweden does an amazing job making you feel like you are in the story.

When he's asked to go on a solo mission for the PSI Branch (Paranormal Security and Intelligence) he's not so sure he wants his old job back. Inara Nash is a survivor, doing what she must to get by. On the run for years, from an organization she doesn't fully understand, she tries to stay below the radar. When a blond hunk arrives and claims he's her savior, she suspects her luck might have finally run out.

Eadan was married to Melissa for a short time and lost her and his child. They were both PSI operatives and now he is part of the I-Ops team and Roi (Melissa's mate) team. They all get along but he does get picked on because he is Fae and has a fresh "baby" face and long blonde hair. However, those characteristics do not mean he is a push over. He is just as Alpha male as any of the other Ops. After a mission where Eadan had to use his powers to save their butts he is told he has to go on a mission for PSI again and he cannot bring his team. As it turns out it is a mission to save his True Mate. She just happens to be related to Lukian and Roi. Once they all meet you can image the tension between Lukian, Roi and Eadan.

Inara has lived on the streets for years and was "adopted" by James Hagan...a former PSI Op. She knows she isn't quite human but doesn't know what she is...she does know she is allergic to Magiks. She sneezes every time she is around one. However a few months ago James was taken and Inara has been running ever since. She is tired, hungry and has no where else to go. She is going to a fight club to try to take money and food because she does not feel bad for stealing from bad people. There she meets Jinx, who gives her food and a place to shower. She doesn't trust magiks and sneezes every time she is around one. In walks Eadan, she cannot believe the man she has drawn for so long is real, and once she sneezes she realizes he is a magik.

Once they meet in walk the bad guys trying to capture Inara. It is a pretty good fight scene and I loved hearing how resourceful Inara is with an apple. I love the instant chemistry and vulnerability between the two. In the container she is drawn to Eadan and realizes he's in pain and wonders at the "bee buzzing" sound that heals him when they touch. At the time not realizing she is a magik as well. The entire story line is great and I loved listening to Topher Samuels narrate the story.

Jaston and Malock were once as close as brothers. War and the scars it left behind changed that. Lindsay Willows is a strong, amazing woman. 3 years ago she was attacked and lost something very important to her. That attack forever changed her life and she has been "hiding" since. We start this story with another attempt on her life. She has killed a few were-panthers but she knows there are more out there. Every shifter, vampire and bad guy wants her to give over her mate the Prince. She has no idea who her mate is but it is really starting to make her mad. She wakes up the next morning, not knowing how she got to her bed, but at work she hears Exavier Kedmen wants her to choreograph his tour and music video. As soon as she meets him, she is instantly attracted to him. He reminds her of a childhood friend she knew. She spends the day with him, thinking he is human, and has to fend off multiple attacks on her person. There are many twists and turns in the story and action. I loved it and Rachel Vivette did an amazing job portraying all of the different characters.

Donatus is a fallen warrior who use to do unspeakable things in the name of evil, until one day when everything changed. They start together in what they both think is a dream. I do not want to give too much away but it is a great listen. Mandy does a spectacular job creating this world. This story has comedy, romance and action.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Executive Decision: Falling for Him, Book 1?

I loved the club scene. Liz and Lauren are very intoxicated and things come to everyone's attention that make you fall in love with Liz even more. It also makes Dale realize what a butt he has been without even knowing it...on top of things he knows he has done/said.

Which scene was your favorite?

It is hard to pick a favorite. My top 3 are the club scene, the dinner at his parents and when she is jogging back home with Cindy.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, it was. In fact it only took me 2 sittings to listen to the entire story. If my trip would have been longer I would have accomplished it.

Any additional comments?

Sarah Van Sweden did a good job with the story. There were only a few times where I think she read Liz's lines or thoughts in her Dale voice. She did a great job creating different distinct voices for each character.

I love strong female leads. Maddy is that and more. She is the only female guardian, in a world where it is usually men policing the supernatural world. She is very smart, sassy, and stubborn. There were numerous action scenes in story and each was better the previous. I did get mad a Brady a a few times because he was very jealous and did not give Maddy a chance to explain or tell her why he was mad. I cannot wait to see where Mandy takes us in this world. I want to see the upcoming war and find out who Hudson, Franco and Gabe are destined for. Sarah Van Sweden did an amazing job narrating this story. Not only was the story great but she made it come alive while I was listening to it.

This was a good story. It is not one of my favorites but it is still very well written. Michelle kept very well with the time period she was writing in with Wolfe and Gin. However, I kept getting very frustrated with my romantic leads. I was very upset when they got married and Wolfe ended up in another woman's bed. However, that is what usually happened at that period in time. By the end of the story I fell in love with the two main characters and was hoping that everything would work out for them. I enjoyed the narrations immensely. Leslie Parkins did a superb job in changing the voices while they were growing up and really showed their emotions.

Would you listen to Blaze of Glory again? Why?

Yes, I loved hearing Mason Lloyd narrate this story. It is a quick listen and makes you wish you were part of the story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Blaze of Glory?

One of the most memorable moments was the stand off at the end between Molly, Jonathan, Cole and Gerald. I loved seeing Molly put Gerald, her childhood attacker in his place.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was the fighting scene. Where Molly comes in and surprises everyone by being Magical Marshall Molly.

Any additional comments?

This story is a quick but excellent story. This is the first time I have heard Mason Lloyd with a western accent and it did take me a moment to get use to it but it didn't hinder the story in any way. Mandy delivers another amazing book that makes you wish all you had to do every day was listen or read her stories.

Michelle draws you in to their world and you feel like you are part of this apocalyptic society where people are paired off due to genetics. Rena is chosen to be with Micco a man she met before the end of the world. A man who she is attracted to but was hurt by in the past. I love how they come together I just wish it was longer.
