Only a few weeks have passed since the Battle of Burrova, and Edward and his friends are busier than ever improving the Haunt and protecting the surviving villagers. Sadly, time is a scarce commodity in the world of Ivalis. Soon enough, Ed finds himself thrown in conflict against the man behind the mindbrood’s attack, a man who is seemingly capable of shrugging off mortal wounds and who is willing to unleash a devastating plague of undead against the Haunt and everyone inside.

This book is sooo damn good...

All I have to say is if your easily disturbed, I'd suggest you stay away from this one...

Without spoilers, their are quite a few guy wrenching parts that are acted out EXTREMELY well... So much so, I thought I was going to start crying profusely.

Other than that, this story is amazing in every way! The voice acting is spot on!

Can't wait for the next one!

This book was so very confusing in the beginning few chapters, but don't let that deter you from picking it up!

The narration really brings this book to life. The writing is exquisite, after the story is explained after the beginning chapters.

The main character is a good guy for whom is relatable and kind hearted. I can't wait to see where he goes from here!

At first I was super confused, but then it all made sense. Love the premise.

The only real gripe I had was there was no explanation for the ending... But I guess that will be explained in the next one.

This book is.... I don't even know how to put my enjoyment of it into words honestly!

The performance of the narrator was amazing (even if all his different personas "sounded" the same). His performance of the EMOTION is what really made it as good as it was. I almost cried at the ending scene with Jason and **spoiler**.

Seriously though, keep up the awesome work and I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series!
