Dareena Sellis is a nobody. The orphaned daughter of a no-name farmer, she toils away as a serving girl at Hallowdale Inn. But fate takes a strange turn the day a dragon huntress comes to town. Suddenly, Dareena is swept off to Dragon’s Keep. She is the dragon’s gift - the one woman chosen by the gods every century to bear children for the future king of Dragonfell. None of the princes are willing to cede Dareena to the other, and yet she must choose, for the enemy is knocking on Dragonfell’s door and Dareena’s decision could either mean the kingdom’s salvation...or annihilation.

The Dragon's Gift Trilogy was absolutely amazing. The story kept me hooked from the first chapter. After finishing the trilogy it has left me wanting more. So may questions. Is the babe okay? Does the curse break? Does the war really end? I want more!

The performance was marvelous. Adam and Kate do a wonderful job portraying the story. They manipulate their voices perfectly to match the characters. The emotions they make you feel truly brings the story to life.

This is a must-read for all fantasy lovers who want a good story filled with love, trials, sex, and war. I will be looking for more books by Jasmine Walt and May Sage.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I took all of my willpower to get through this book. I love the Grey Wolves series but this was painful. I own all the books but I like the audiobook for when I at work. The narrator is awful! SO UNBELIEVABLY HORRIBLE!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Den of Sorrows?

Reading the paper copy not listening to the audiobook....

What didn’t you like about Teri Schnaubelt’s performance?

HORRIBLE! Why would you switch narrators in the middle of a series? Bring back Abby! Her voice is awful and she pronounces the names wrong! She ruined this book within 30 seconds of hearing this.

Any additional comments?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not use this narrator again. I love your series but I can't listen to another book read by her. It's the worst narrator I've ever listen to. 8 books read by Abby and she was amazing. Teri just doesn't fit the bill. Please bring Abby back!

Would you try another book from Emigh Cannaday and/or Nick Cracknell?

I might try another book by this author, but not the narrator.

What was most disappointing about Emigh Cannaday’s story?

Slow to start and I just couldn't connect with Annika.

What didn’t you like about Nick Cracknell’s performance?

His voice is beautiful, but he doesn't match the characters well.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

The description of the book drew me in but the story did not hold my attention.

I absolutely love this series! Beyond the Veil had me crying, laughing, and made my heart break. Quinn Loftis knows how to pull a reader in and make them feel every joy and sorrow each character feels. I can't wait to read book 6! Thank you for the wolves.
