But when a coded distress call from his former CO leads him to a shadowy NSA operative, Tom is recruited for a "black op" to bring back the now-rogue man who saved his life.

DNF! Horrible, boring, 💤
I can’t imagine why I must say how bad this is using 15 words. I thought I pretty much said what needed.

History was made at the 2015 Belmont Stakes when American Pharoah won the Triple Crown, the first since Affirmed in 1978. As magnificent as the champion is, the team behind him has been all too human while on the road to immortality.

Absolute horrible performance! I don’t even want to even carry on a conversation EVER with this guy.
The book was nothing but a PR campaign for the 2 snake oil salesmen Baffert & Zayat. There’s nothing that can redeem the foul name they already have.
It was slow & boring! The story reads like “now gather around kiddies while I tell you a story about a horsey that ran races”. The only positive thing I can say about it is that I got it for free. I wouldn’t waste money on this drivel!
The whole story of the triple crown races was anything but exciting & epic. In fact it fell flat & was quite anticlimactic.
The entire part following the Belmont Stakes race got even worse & I began to simply want the pain to end!

Here is a timeless tale of waterside Britain that has been loved by generations of children and acclaimed as a classic. The story of Mole, Ratty, Badger, and Toad, and their escapades, whether messing about on the river or poop-pooping in Toad's shiny new car, cannot fail to enchant.

I’m giving this rating purely for the performance. I need to say I’ve never read the book & was so looking forward to enjoying it, however I absolutely could not understand a word this old 90 year old mumbling Brit was saying. It sounded like someone’s great grandfather reading a book to them & that’s fine if you’re use to listening to his voice but his mumbling got far too annoying for me to continue. I had to return it & will try again some other way.
