As a listener to Pastor Greg's daily podcast, this book intrigued me as it was covered many times, podcast after podcast. What ignorance I had thinking that since I didn't really know Steve McQueen that this book wouldn't be interesting. I was wrong.

Pastor Greg did a great job making the reader feel human as he discussed McQueen and his demons. While doing it, he we've in incredible stories of his own life.

If McQueen can repent and have salvation, I certainly can as well. This book helps humanize what life without Him is like and just how glorious it is with Him.

Bravo, Pastor Greg, Bravo.

As a repeat offender of losing trust with the one I love, this book helped me understand the patterns of my behavior and the responses from partner. It takes work and isn't easy but the author gives tangible suggestions on steps you can take to start building again.

Larry's writing captured both the brilliance and ruthlessness of Bobby Kennedy. Beginning early in his life, I was continually locked in learning all the complexities that made up RFK. Although we knew the ending, I learned much more intimately at the brilliance that made up this liberal icon.

I was thoroughly surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. I found myself looking forward to long trips in the car which normally didn't happen. Phil Knight and the Nike story is one that is both inspiring with all the cliff hangers of a good movie. It was the story of the buttfaces.

It was a good listen and there are nuggets of learnings through the 60 minutes. I believe you fully get the most out of this I'll requires listening multiple times. The reader (author) is to excitable and lacks the pauses for effect. On multiple occasions, it seemed name dropping was more important than the message which turned me off. It doesn't add value to drop the who's who I'm CEOs or large companies rather I'd prefer saying I've had a friend, or workshop attendee, etc a the source than name dropping. This is the reason I went 4 stars and not 5.

The story is one thing but the reader was incredible. I loved the depth and detail. I commute 90 mins one way to and from home to my job. I rarely look forward to this drive. This book and it's subject memorized me from beginning to end and traffic was a distant wit for me. Steve Jobs was such a polarizing individual that I'm most happy to know I got to live and use some of the magic he created.
