Would you listen to Firefight again? Why?

You did it again to me... Another great story and now I have to wait for the next book! You are such a great author, I can't stand you! I keep trying to avoid your books, but end up buying them and loving the stores and hating you even more because you are such an Epic author! When is HBO going to do Mistborn!?

What was one of the most memorable moments of Firefight?

The hospital room scene with Regalia

What does MacLeod Andrews bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He is an Oscar Winning narrator, the VERY best! Amazing voices, really extraordinary. There may not be anyone better, seriously.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Loved the scenes with Megan, and the epilogue, be sure to listen to it.

Any additional comments?

Thank you, Audible for your very existence.

Audie Award, Humor, 2016. In Furiously Happy, number-one New York Times best-selling author Jenny Lawson explores her lifelong battle with mental illness. A hysterical, ridiculous book about crippling depression and anxiety? That sounds like a terrible idea. But terrible ideas are what Jenny does best.

What made the experience of listening to Furiously Happy the most enjoyable?

The author's reading of the book makes it all worthwhile. Jenny should stop pretending, she is good at this! Ridiculously funny in the beginning, then lost steam for me.

What other book might you compare Furiously Happy to and why?

nothing comes to mind it is a rarity.

Have you listened to any of Jenny Lawson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

no

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

no

Any additional comments?

Initially I thought this book might give me some insights to people with mental illness. I'm trying to understand it as it afflicts a loved one. This book wasn't what I expected, but it was helpful.

God Bless Victor. Like him, I too found myself drifting in and out of listening when Jenny would be going off on a rant.

This would make a fabulous TV show with Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Jenny!

In the 20th century Earth sent probes, transmissions, and welcoming messages to the stars. Unfortunately, someone noticed. The Galactics arrived with their battle fleet in 2052. Rather than being exterminated under a barrage of hell-burners, Earth joined their vast Empire. Swearing allegiance to our distant alien overlords wasn't the only requirement for survival. We also had to have something of value to trade, something that neighboring planets would pay their hard-earned credits to buy. As most of the local worlds were too civilized to have a proper army, the only valuable service Earth could provide came in the form of soldiers....

For a 2,000-year-old Druid, Atticus O’Sullivan is a pretty fast runner. Good thing, because he’s being chased by not one but two goddesses of the hunt - Artemis and Diana - for messing with one of their own. Dodging their slings and arrows, Atticus, Granuaile, and his wolfhound Oberon are making a mad dash across modern-day Europe to seek help from a friend of the Tuatha Dé Danann. His usual magical option of shifting planes is blocked, so instead of playing hide-and-seek, the game plan is...run like hell.

Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.
