I must admit that there were moments throughout this book that I blushed, (I'm somewhat of a pride), the many times that I laughed so hard that I had to rewind to catch what I missed made up for the red face! Oh, I can't tell you how much fun this book was to listen to and I will definitely listen to it again and again! It's now become one of my top 5 favorites! Please write more, Eliza Kennedy! You now have me for a devoted fan, without a doubt!!

Susan Bennett is the narrator of this book not Orlagh Cassidy. Susan gives her usual outstanding performance, so I'm not complaining at all, but it might make a difference to other listeners.

Although this books' subject is quite sensitive, I still connected with the characters and a few of their struggles. I think I would have benefited greatly and been less destructive In several of my past relationships if i were to have had the support that this group of ladies offered each other available to me! I'll definitely watch for more from Sylvia True!

When writing about a cross country trip, it seems that if an author has never actually experienced firsthand the landscape, the towns, and the scenery, then a little more effort and research would be made before writing so many inaccuracies in a novel . I stopped reading when the "salt flats" were described as being in Nevada somewhere around Winnemucca! I guess it wouldn't matter to most readers but when the characters I'm reading about are traveling across the state I've lived in my whole life, I'd much rather see it being accurately described ..

For years I was often heard saying "Danielle Steel is my favorite author". However, I'm so sad to say I will never be heard saying those words again. I've havent been able to finish listening to her last 7 or 8 books! It seems that she now repeats things over and over, like she takes large portions of a particular chapter and just rewords them 2 or 3 times! It makes me sad to have to say goodbye but unless I hear she has made huge writing style changes, I wont bepushing "buy" for a DS book anytime soon!
