Hilton Head, a South Carolina retirement heaven - at least it's supposed to be, but for Big Al and Connie Russo, the move from New Jersey to this Southern paradise has been fraught with just a few complications. Especially for their daughter, Grace. Well, that's what she likes to be called. Her family insists on Maria Graziella. Seriously, enough with the Neapolitan. That might have been okay in New Jersey, but now it's just plain silly, and Grace, at 32 is - horror of horrors - still unmarried.

When she was 16 years old, Angela Wong - one of the most popular girls in school - disappeared without a trace. Nobody ever suspected that her best friend, Georgina Shaw, now an executive and rising star at her Seattle pharmaceutical company, was involved in any way. Certainly not Kaiser Brody, who was close with both girls back in high school. But 14 years later, Angela Wong's remains are discovered in the woods near Geo's childhood home.

Truly my favorite book I have listened to in a very very long time. The write and narrator combo is a fantastic fit. I hope to see more from the. I know there are some, I have t gotten around to listening to then yet.
I loved to truth even if it were only revealed it due time. I loved the rawness of the writing and how January a,ways gets the voices right! To me anyway.

I cant recommend this book enough.

If you are just delving into mystery thriller, this is a great one to start with.

Enjoy

Great finish to a great series. There were only a couple in this series that I thought lacked a bit of luster but overall I loved the women’s murder club.

I also got a little sidetracked when January Levoy started to Narrate but I found that she did a much better job with voice changes, especially with male voices.

Great series and my first round with James Patterson

I'm so confused, I have listened to all Ms Carrs books and Therese Plummer. I was so disappointed when the book ended like it did, but I was sure there would soon be a follow up. But there have now been 2 more books released and nothing about Maggie and Cal. What happens to Scully, what happens to the campground? More importantly what happens. It was stopped in the oddest place.
