Story
Ten years ago, Hadleigh Stevens was 18 and this close to saying "I do", when Tripp Galloway interrupted her walk down the aisle. Now that she's recovered from her youthful mistake and Tripp's interference, Hadleigh and her single friends form a marriage pact. She doesn't expect Tripp to meddle with her new plan to find Mr. Right - or to discover that she's more attracted to him than ever! Divorced and eager to reconnect with his cowboy roots, Tripp returns to Bliss County to save his ailing father's ranch. He's not looking for another wife - certainly not his best friend's little sister.

A little predictable, but still easy and fun to listen. Good narrator, and no surprises.

Story
Growing up, Cassie Carter and her sisters, Karen and Nichole, were incredibly close - until one fateful event drove them apart. After high school, Cassie ran away from home to marry the wrong man, throwing away a college scholarship and breaking her parents' hearts. To make matters worse, Cassie had always been their father's favorite - a sentiment that weighed heavily on her sisters and made Cassie's actions even harder to bear.

What an incompetent piece of twaddle!!!
Reviewed: 03-15-15
What disappointed you about Last One Home?
She spent 10+ hours laboriously and tedious repeating how the "heroine" could not make a commitment to the man who loved her... then left every important issue hanging and unresolved at the end of the story... yep, pure twaddle.
What do you think your next listen will be?
Something else.
What about Rebecca Lowman and Debbie Macomber ’s performance did you like?
I liked Rebecca Lowman's narration. Didn't like Debbie Macomber's performance at all.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Last One Home?
The middle 30 chapters.
Any additional comments?
I think I've said quite enough. My opinion is very clear.

Story
Just days before a massive exhibition opens at the popular New York Museum of Natural History, visitors are being savagely murdered in the museum's dark hallways and secret rooms. Autopsies indicate that the killer cannot be human. But the museum's directors plan to go ahead with a big bash to celebrate the new exhibition, in spite of the murders. Museum researcher Margo Green must find out who - or what - is doing the killing.
