I have recently lost both my boys to an overdose within 18 months apart. His story helped me understand what was going through their minds and what was driving their destruction. Thank you.

It’s amazing to hear what was happening in this mans life behind the scenes. The love he had for his son and the love between the brothers was so strong that you can understand the void in their lives. Talk about a stand up guy, this man would have been an awesome president.

This book reminds you of how the Bible shows us the true meaning of losing a son to drugs and the life it brings. Losing my two boys to drugs in looking for some reassurance in the love of God, this book helped me with that. Thank you

The message of receiving insight from the souls was very interesting. It made so much sense and the author explained things very well and kept me intrigued. The only part I didn't care for was they had the people to whom he was giving a session too speak and reply as if it were actually happening now. So you would hear a lot of "yes", "ok" and they would try and sound as if this was the first time they've heard this. If you weren't a believer on this topic I could see how you would feel the whole thing is scripted. But it really gave me some insight and peace.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This book was written as more as a diary, hence the word memoir in the title. It went through the daily life of how this young man scored, sold and used meth. The words used would be those of a teenage boy when referring to having sex with girls and what and when he would. So that was a little surprising. He never got caught or had any of the consequences that come from addiction. But being a middle class boy living in the suburbs it was his view.

This book was incredibly accurate on what we as parents need to do at what ever point we are in with our adult children. So many of us have enabled our kids thinking we were helping them make it through life easier. In actuality, we stopped them from becoming responsible thought giving adults. It's very difficult to change what we have known for 20+ years. But we must. We deserve to be happy and free.
