Coming out is easier when you've got someone by your side. At least that's how the hyper-private Quinn Kincaid sees it. When her publicist suggests a good old-fashioned sham of a Hollywood relationship, Quinn reluctantly agrees. And that's how the star of Jordan's Appeal, TV's highest rated legal drama, ends up with a fake girlfriend - the very real, very sexy, and very gay soap star Lacey Matthews.

The story itself is well written and the witty dialogues of the first half of the book are pure pleasure .

Narration can ruin the experience of a book or make it great. A great story teller as Melissa Brandon deserve a great narrator and for this book she got one. Mellisa Sternberg does a superb work in reading this book. Listening was effortless. The moving from character to another felt so natural. There was no point during the listening that I needed figure out who is talking.

Too bad Tropical Storm Leo, swiftly gaining strength out over the Atlantic, is about to draw her in to another life or death war, this time on home soil. Dr. Dara Sims has too many critical patients in the intensive care units at Miami Memorial to consider evacuation, no matter how determined the battle-hardened colonel is to make her. As far as Dara is concerned, evacuate is just another word for abandon. When a state of emergency becomes a state of siege waged by Leo, all she can do is hope the rising waters relent before she loses everyone, herself included.

After listening to this book, it sounds like Carson Taite was aiming on writing an episode for the T.V. show Scandal. It came out great. Great suspense story with precise rhythm until the last note. I read most of Carson Taite books, for me this one is the best so far. The narration was descent enough.

No doubt Nicol Zanzarella is one of the very best. It's a great joy to listen to her reading a book and getting so we'll into character. Regarding the story- it was good and fun. If you. see already exposed to Robin Alexander books , you know what greatness is in the genre of romantic comedy. Gerri Hill in this case not getting to that kind of greatness. Still it is a good book and thank God for Nicol Zanzarella for bringing it into life and not ruin the experience.
