The story was good, and the performance was good too, but I did feel the ending was abrupt. Maybe because there’s more books in the series?

I really enjoyed this story. It is a well written Christian historical novel that keeps your interest. The only negative thing I could say is that the narrator is way to whispery and breathy. It’s a little distracting but if you can get past it, the story is wonderful.

Sarah Eden has become one of my favorite authors. Her stories are always interesting and keep you listening. This one did not disappoint. There’s just enough adventure, angst and love without being over done or drawn out too long. I loved hearing Corbin’s story and felt so bad for him with his shyness, and felt bad for Clara and all she went through too. Worth a credit if you like historical Christian romance.

What do you do when your best friend calls and says she's getting married in a matter of days on a different continent? You hop on a plane and go to be with her, of course. Lu Osborne was doing precisely that. She boarded a flight that was headed for Ireland on only a few days' notice despite the fact that she had a lot of irons in the fire. Other than witnessing a fairytale wedding and maybe doing a little sightseeing, Lu didn't expect anything to come from the trip. She certainly didn't expect to fall in love with her best friend's brother, Joe.
