In This Book Has Balls, Rapaport uses his signature smack-talk style and in-your-face humor to discuss everything from why LeBron will never be like Mike to how Tiger needs the ladies to get his golf game back and how he once thought Mary Lou Retton was his true love. And, of course, why next year will be the year the New York Knicks win the championship. This book is a series of rants - some controversial, some affectionate, but all incredibly hilarious.

I was completely hooked once I started it, and only stopped listening to it for work and some family time. It is that good! I found myself laughing out loud in public with my earbuds in many, many times. There is so much humor, heartfelt emotion, and great stories woven throughout his narrative I wish there was more. Good work Gringo Mandingo, you killed it it duke.

In that first volume, we were introduced to the remarkable world of Roshar, a world both alien and magical, where gigantic hurricane-like storms scour the surface every few days and life has adapted accordingly. Roshar is shared by humans and the enigmatic, humanoid Parshendi, with whom they are at war.

Sanderson's Stomlight Archive is a fantastic series that took over my life until I finished the two current books. The two narrators give a variety of accents and impressions of the diverse characters that is mesmerizing. I was on the edge of seat and can't wait for more.

It's springtime in Styria. And that means war. There have been nineteen years of blood. The ruthless Grand Duke Orso is locked in a vicious struggle with the squabbling League of Eight, and between them they have bled the land white. While armies march, heads roll, and cities burn, behind the scenes bankers, priests, and older, darker powers play a deadly game to choose who will be king.

  • Solid, but not as good as the First Law trilogy.

Best Joe Abercrombie book for me so far, and I've got through them all except the shattered sea series. Amazing book. Got through it in one week easily.
