Real. Gut wrenching. Funny. Sad. I felt like I was right there with Mike and Kit as their love story unfolded and then heartbreakingly ended. Seriously one of the best books I have ever listened to.

By this author. Her style is so descriptive and down to earth, I have no trouble picturing the scenes in my head that she is writing. The narration is perfect! This story is spellbinding. I am so excited to finish it, but I know I will be sad the story is finished. I have already purchased one more book by Wingate to see if I like it just as much.

Harper Frost is laid back, easygoing. She doesn't care what anyone thinks of her. She likes a beer and a shot and wouldn't be caught dead wearing anything fashionable. She's inherited her father's run-down house on Martha's Vineyard, but she can't hold down a job, and her latest romantic disaster has the entire island talking. Tabitha Frost is dignified, refined. She prefers a fine wine and has inherited the impeccable taste of her mother, the iconic fashion designer Eleanor Roxie-Frost.

Never written a review before (that I can remember), but this book rubbed a nerve. The constant she said, said _______, said _______, he said. So annoying. Other narrators change the voice just enough that you understand it's the other character speaking. It just got to be distracting. But it's still a really good story.
