This reminded me of a Tom Clancy novel, so if you like those, you'll like this too.

The story is of course, great. However the reader is VERY slow and stilted in his narration. However, if you listen to the story at about 1.5x the normal speed it isn't too bad

Really enjoyed this one. It was more of a novella-like than most Hercule books I've read in the past, and extremely well written and narrated.

A pretty good story, and we'll narrated by Martin Jarvis. The story was a bit lacking in action for a Dick Francis book though

Sounds like some chapters near the end were ripped off a dodgy CD but the book itself is excellent

I was a bit unsure if I would like this one as it's a departure from the usual Francis formula. Ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would in the end though. I'd recommend giving it a go

My second Forsyth book following the day of the Jackal and I wasn't disappointed. The story is well written and well told by David Rintoul.
