Thirty days ago, my boss, Mr. Wolf of Wall Street, came to me with an offer I couldn't refuse: Sign my name on the dotted line and pretend to be his fiancée for one month. If I agreed, he would let me out of my employment contract with a "very generous" severance package. The rules were pretty simple: No intimate kissing, no actual sex. Just pretend to love each other for the press, even though I've secretly wanted to knock that sexy smirk off his face since the first day we met.

First, I must say that I have come to crave the voice of Zachary Webber. He makes listening SOOO MUCH BETTER. He has that voice that engages you until the very end. So, Whitney, he's a keeper!
Second, I loved the banter between all the characters and the humor in this story. Mr. Wolf and Emily were perfect and adding in the comic relief of Brenton was a great formula of success.
Third, I loved this story so much that I have listened to it multiple times.

With the fate of the world at stake, their love never stood a chance. All those years gone by without even an explanation for why he left. Rachel poured her broken heart into her work, but the memory of him never really went away. If only she could see him again. It's been so long though now, there is no reason he could give to justify the pain he put her through.

But surely no mortal man could survive being buried deep beneath the earth. All he knows with certainty is that the soothing voice and presence of the woman moving around above enables him to endure the agony of his wounds. And he will do whatever it takes to be with her.

I was so glad that Stan survived his last battle and how he was found. Seth and the others never gave up looking for Stan and when he finally appeared -- the celebration was so heartwarming. I absolutely love this series and the world of the immortal guardians. I'm enjoying the journey of them battling Seth's biggest nemesis and how they each find their own eternal loves along the way. It's one BIG & HAPPY family.

I stumbled on to this series by chance and have loved each and every book. KEEP THE STORIES COMING!!

Twenty-six-year-old Gaby Barreto might be a lot of things (loyal, sarcastic, one of the guys, and a pain in the butt, depending on which family member you ask), but dumb isn't one of them. When her twin brother invites her to go on tour as his band's merch girl, she isn't exactly screaming at the top of her lungs with joy. But with no job opportunities pounding on her door, an ex-boyfriend she would still like to castrate, and no end in sight to moving out of her parents' house in Dallas, it would be dumb to say no to the chance of a lifetime.

I like the fact that this story shows the many different kinds of love there are and the depths of each can actually go. VERY WORTH A CREDIT! I loved it so much, I will listen to it again.

I stumbled unto a new author (for me) Ms. Langlais. Her writing style is exactly what I crave--hilarious, well-written plots and characters. Granted, this particular series is different only in location but love does happen anywhere and everywhere...so why not in hell? The main character is full of self-doubts and has major trust issues. However, you cannot help but fall in love with the dirty-talking demon who is tasked to assist her. Their banter is fresh and laugh-out-loud funny. Even the 'Prince of Darkness' is rather likable in this delightful series. And two thumbs up for Mindy Kennedy--the narration is great too. I highly recommend and so worth a credit.

Nikolai Vorislav likes his single life just as it is. Simple, relaxing, and quiet. What he doesn't need is some foul-mouthed Texan hellcat living in his house, eating his food, flirting with his idiot brothers, and shooting holes in his home with his granddaddy's gun. But those long legs, dark eyes, and lethal tongue are making Nik insane, and he fears that he may be caught in the sexiest animal trap ever.

I adored this story! It's hysterical laugh out loud funny!! The pack and pride dynamics are heartwarming--in a dysfunctional sort of way but they make sense. From the parents to the siblings, to the "outsiders" who have no fashion sense...this story unites everyone in such an amusing way. The way the word sugar is used by Nik is just divine and sends chills down my spine. I have heard this book several times and each time it leaves me wanting more. Please write more about these characters especially, Nik's brothers and sisters.
