Keane Morgan wouldn't return any of my calls or texts, and I was pissed as hell about it. I didn't want to drive from Seattle to L.A. with the guy any more than he wanted to drive with me, but I had no frickin' choice in the matter - at least, not if I wanted to use his brother Dax's coveted parking spot at UCLA. Okay, so it turned out Keane was objectively gorgeous, and, fine, pretty funny, too. But did he have to be so damned in love with himself? I mean, jeez, the cocky way he flashed those dimples was just so orchestrated.

I’m so sorry to say this but it just definitely wasn’t what I was looking for when going for a love story. The character is just way too over the top “surfer ninja turtle dude” that it distracts from the actual story. That’s not to say that the actual story was so gripping that it was a hard thing to do, but it all just felt so immature that I kinda lost interest and kept looking for other books to listen to instead, so I’m just gonna move on. Time is too precious to waste on annoying books. (I’m super happy I didn’t pay for this book or I would have been really mad!! Thank goodness for the Romance package!!!) Again, I’m so sorry for the negative feedback to Lauren Rowe and everyone involved in making it. I just don’t want to have anyone else settle down for an evening in to a... ...a misunderstanding like this.

The first time I laid eyes on Lydia Decker, I couldn’t speak. Or breathe. Or string two coherent thoughts together. And I don’t mean any of that figuratively. No, when I first laid eyes on Lydia Decker - my physical therapist - I was lying flat on my back in the ICU, high as a kite on painkillers, breathing on a ventilator, my bones as broken and splintered as my spirit. She said she’d been assigned to fix me. But what I didn’t know...what I couldn’t possibly know...was that Lydia Decker needed fixing far more than I ever did.

I thoroughly enjoyed every second of this beautiful and joyous story!! I’m super happy to see the whole heart wrenching tradition of romance novels needing to include some huge disaster/misunderstanding/lack of communication that tears the love birds apart for a matter of days-years, completely broken!! I always hated that part and wished I could just once read a story that just went well for once and showed the audience that yes stuff does in fact go wrong, but the most romantic thing in the world is how you get through it TOGETHER!!! Amen to Lauren Rowe... MY HERO!! I truly Loved this story and just wished there were a series to follow including the love stories of the rest of the Morgan clan. 🙏🤞

Hidden Falls is exactly as Samantha Parker left it - small, insular, and prone to gossip. Eighteen years have passed since she witnessed her brother's murder, but she's still the talk of the town. Until a handsome child psychologist with haunting memories of his own arrives. Dr. Ethan McClane isn't exactly a newcomer. If it weren't for his latest case, he'd never set foot back in Hidden Falls. Thankfully, no one seems to recognize him as the troubled teen from years past.

A note to the author/ narrator... the story was amazing!! I absolutely loved it. Loved it enough to put up with the narration. Because of how good the story was I will even get the next one in the series. I do hope you continue to write novels however, I also hope you find someone more suited to narrate for you. Listeners can only take so much of bad narrating before they stop buying the books. 🤞sorry!!!

Stella Lane thinks math is the only thing that unites the universe. She comes up with algorithms to predict customer purchases - a job that has given her more money than she knows what to do with as well as way less experience in the dating department than the average 30-year-old. It doesn't help that she has Asperger's and that French kissing reminds her of a shark getting its teeth cleaned by pilot fish. She decides that she needs lots of practice - with a professional - which is why she hires escort Michael Phan.

My girl J. Bengtsson just keeps outdoing herself time and time again!! I thought I was so in love with the Cake series that nothing could ever top them for me, but if anyone could do it, it’s J. Bengtsson herself!! She’s definitely my favorite author of all time and believe me I have read and listened to hundreds upon thousands of books over my lifetime and no one does it quite like she does. Her writing, her vision, all of her stories just speak to me with such perfection that I hope she keeps writing for the rest of my days (especially if my man Zachary Webber will be narrating for us)!!! Absolutely worth the time and money to hear this one again and again!! I kept finding myself smiling like a fool every time I listened to it. I really wish it wasn’t over, I miss Bohdi and Breeze already!! Enjoy everyone!! ...now I’m just anxiously awaiting the next slice of CAKE!!! 🍰 Woo hoo!!

Ok so I thought the last one in the series was my favorite but now I’m sure it’s this one! There’s a few sloppy edits in the beginning and then 1 in the end but otherwise it was such a perfect and wonderful story. Definitely my favorite story line of all the series. I’m only sad it was the last one. I wish I could read about the amazing Sunder boys and their perfect family forever!! Very heart warming series especially this one!! Great job as always A L Jackson, and my two top favorite narrators, Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt!!
