Kate thought she’d never unlock her powers - let alone trigger them by creating a familiar out of a cross-eyed pigeon. Before she can celebrate the good news, a terrifying bounty hunter kidnaps her mother. In a race against time to save her mother, Kate runs afoul of a dragon, and even worse, the most feared creatures in existence: the dreaded forest gnomes. To top it all off, she discovers long-lost magical family members who maybe should have stayed lost. Kate is finally a witch - but it just might kill her.

There's nothing like the Stoneybrook farmers market in summer. Fresh flowers, organic veggies, delicious jams...and a dead body. When an outsider turns up murdered, all of the evidence points to his rival, Stoneybrook's beloved florist. Unable to believe a pillar of their community could be guilty of such a heinous crime, Hadley dives head-first into the investigation. Sure, she's busy looking for a new house, running her business, and dealing with her ex - who's back in town - but Hadley is determined to find the truth before the wrong man goes to jail.

There are encounters that may never be fully explained. These stories are filtered through half-forgotten memories and traverse between the borderlands of reality and nightmare. Ethereal figures who seem to materialize into thin air for just long enough to pique our imagination and then disappear once again. Perhaps there are some encounters that will elude us forever. This audiobook contains unbelievable encounters with aliens, ghosts, goblins, and every oddity in between.
