I knew when I got my hands on this book that it would be another winner. Ms. Clee has never disappointed me. This book, just like all the others she wrote, is full of exciting characters and a mystery with a lot of twists and turns. Whenever I thought I had it all figured out I was thrown another curveball. The story kept me enthralled until the very end. This book is not to be missed! And the narrator Liisa Ivary did another fine job reading it.

This is a book you can't put down once you start reading or listening to it. I've been in love with Reid long before he got his story told. What can I say? I just love a hot rogue! The first and second meeting between Reid and Allie just made me love him even more. And I really enjoy a determined heroine. In my mind, I kept telling Allie "don't give up on him" many times. And when she left with her sister, who made me furious, I actually screamed out loud 'NO'. Reid affected me even more. I kept going between wanting to hit him and telling him to stop doubting himself. As you can see, this book is extremely engaging and I can't recommend it enough. And the swoon-worthy voice of Tim Campbell makes the whole experience a thousand times better. I could listen to him 24x7. The man could read the phone book and would still sound sexy.

I loved Graeme from the day we met him and felt sorry for him everytime he was turned down by a woman he wanted to marry. Reading his story now makes it clear that none of those women were actually right for him. Miranda is what he needed. Sometimes I just wanted to slap him for his self-doubts. In the end, he turned out to be my favorite. Thank you, Ms. Mecca, for another great story from the border. I highly recommend the whole Border Series to everyone who likes Scottish and English historical romance. As for the narrator - I love Tim Campbell's voice and could listen to him forever. He is absolutely perfect for this series.

This is a great first book in a new series by Adele Clee. I have read every one of her books and listened to quite a few and have never been disappointed. And this new book is no exception. The characters are well developed. The story is fast-paced. There are a lot of funny remarks that made me laugh out loud and I absolutely loved the banter between hero and heroine. And though she was annoying at times, I even liked the maid. I am very much looking forward to the next book in this new series. And, as with all the other books she narrated, Ms. Ivary did a great job.

I love the Rogues to Riches series and this book is no exception. I enjoyed meeting the previous characters again. Heath's sisters are just so much fun. The historical aspect (poor relations and their 'betters') was well described. I couldn't wait to see how the heroine's problem was resolved. The story kept me entertained and glued to the audiobook to the very last page. And I thoroughly enjoyed the narrator. Highly recommended!

Ms. Clee always delivers well thought-out mysteries with characters one has to fall in love with. This particular story is well paced and there is not a dull moment. It's a mystery with a surprising turn of events. And, of course, a happy ending. I highly recommend this book to all lovers of romance books.

This book is so much more than a love story with a touch of mystery. This is the journey of two tortured souls kept apart by greed and treachery. I instantly fell in love with the hero and heroine. I cried for them and prayed for their happy ending. Ms Clee did an outstanding job portraying them. And, as always in books written by this excellent author, the mysteries surrounding our couple left me turning page after page in anticipation of what was going to happen next. This is another well-executed storyline and I hope there will be more. I highly recommend every book in this series. The Daring Miss Darcy can be read as a standalone but all four books in the series are wonderful. The narrator is also doing a wonderful job. The more I listen to her the more I enjoy her performance.
