Martin Novak insisted that he'd never change another person's life for love and his pleasure. For centuries, he lived by that self-imposed code. Now, he is contemplating a change of heart for not only his own pleasure, but to save the life of the woman he loves. Carleena loved life and lived it to the fullest. Love and happiness fills her now that she's found her perfect man. But when she learns she is sick, and it could keep them apart, her life is further complicated by the secret Marty has been keeping.

The narrator sounded like a child. When she would read certain passages I felt like she had never used the words before.

What disappointed you about PBI Case Files, Bundle 1?

This series is listed under the wrong category. I was very disapointed. Also it said that this is "Unabridged" I don't believe it. The stories were choppy.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

yes

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

DISAPPOINTMENT!

Would you try another book from Jesse J. Wolfe and/or Dennis Logan?

I don't know if I would listen to another book. I could not every listen to this one.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Worst narrator ever. He must have been speed reading. Could not stand to listen to it.

Very slow moving. I was struggling to finish it. I kept hoping it would get better. Not a chance. Don't waste your money.
