I will start with what I didn’t like: I didn’t like the narration, but sometimes you just need to hang in there and not loose interest in a book even if you don’t really like the narration. Carmen Rose, sounded so bored with this book, that it was heartbreaking.
Now to what I liked. OK so some people were disappointed that there were no sex scenes, I was not. It reminded me of the books I read in the 90’s, when I first came out and started reading lesbian novels. They were of all ages, and this book is for us the older ladies, and most of them were of coming out, and discovering lesbianism... I loved the latebian that was created here... I was / am a latebian as well so I related.
I don’t need a hot sex scene to actually feel the heat of the relationship in the book, it is nice to have a hot scene but it is not a must. And this book proved it.
So, to conclude: I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!

I got this book because I really like Bennett and Gardner’s books I even got used to Gardner’s narration. But this one, I could not follow this book.... too many characters, very complicated story line, complicated names, what not.
Sorry I will not follow this trilogy...
With this book I want my money back...

Was a little too slow, the characters well not well developed and the narration could have been better, it was a little too nasal for my ear, but the narrator did a good job with different accents...
I would recommend it for vacation when you have time to listen to it and enjoy the different port, not really giving information more than you can find in regular tourist brochures, but still better for vacation than just a drive in the country side...

I am not really into werewolf and fantasy, but I was glad that the story even being a werewolf story didn’t make a whole thing out of it. The part of the werewolf came out only rarely.
This was a very well written book, with well developed characters ones you quickly learn to love. It was very difficult to leave the book because life takes precedent.
I think this is one of Bridget Essex best if not the best book. Marina Barret was phenomenal, her voice is excellent, fit this story extremely well and sexy.

it is not a bad book it is just not up to the other ones.

But when an adorable, fashionable 20-something bursts into Dre's flower shop to cancel her wedding order after her fiance's change of heart, Dre finds a distraught young woman on her hands. She doesn't have the heart to shove her out of the shop, so she takes her out for sympathy and tea. The idea of befriending this woman who is clearly her opposite, however, is the last thing on Dre's mind. Kelsey feels awful for canceling the order, but she's sincere when she tells Dre she wants to be friends.
