On his first day of college, all Jeremy Miller can think about is getting away from his hellish home life, making the wrestling team, and finally getting a real boyfriend. He's sick to death of being used by closeted football players who are too afraid to admit they like guys. What he doesn't count on is losing his mind over the gorgeous, golden-eyed wrestling captain who needs to keep their attraction a secret at all costs.

Really enjoyed this story, though I was a bit unsure about Beck initially. But he grew on me and I thought that he and Jeremy were perfect for one another. A roller coaster ride of self-discovery, self-acceptance, discovery of love, and putting a scum bag in his place...this story has it all.

A hu-mongous fan of T.J.'s writing style and storytelling. I did not dislike this story...I just felt it was really sad and my heart broke a little throughout listening to the story. Without giving too much away, it's an emotional story, one that can lead the reader to assume one thing, be shocked, and then die a little, with each word. Our narrative reflects where we are and because T. J. allowed his fans to be privy to certain aspects of his life, this story appears to be reflective of where he was at that point of his life. Never judge or assume. Derrick McClain was wonderful in delivering this story.

Looking forward to the next part of the series. This is a story, chock full, of a plethora of characters...some in which you like, some you dislike, and some you're just not sure of. This begins where #4 ends and transitions for the next couple of weeks. I love Kennedy's writing style and because I am listening to the audio version, Michael Ahr is amazing and adds so much to the story. My favorite character has to be Beulah...a great read...

Smart, hilarious, and incisive, the Liberal Rednecks confront outdated traditions and intolerant attitudes, tackling everything people think they know about the South - the good, the bad, the glorious, and the shameful - in a laugh-out-loud funny and lively manifesto for the rise of a New South. Home to some of the best music, athletes, soldiers, whiskey, waffles, and weather the country has to offer, the South has also been bathing in backward bathroom bills and other bigoted legislation.

I listened to this book in one sitting. I thoroughly enjoy the antics and perspectives of these three individuals. This book was both riveting and inspiring. I am from the South, [Burke County, GA] and I have always shared that knowledge with pride. As a military brat, I did not spend a great deal of time in the South but I did have the pleasure of experiencing some of the antics discussed in the book with my Ma-ma and Pa-Pa. I have some great memories of them. Though I came to this book a self-identified liberal, this book made me laugh out loud, shed a few tears, and rethink some of my previous perceptions. I'm not sure if I will ever don the 'redneck' label, but I certainly have a better understanding of the definition and a better insight to my previous biases. I live in the South. I was born in the South. I am proud of my Southern heritage! I recommend this book to everyone! I guarantee the stories shared by these three comedic geniuses will make you laugh, shed a tear, and make you rethink your perceptions of the South!

PS. I have such a man-crush on Drew!!!
