Known to be harsh, unyielding, and socially inept, he and his iron core yield to only one person - his destiny, Ciopori Demir. The beautiful, ancient princess can bend Marquis's will - and melt the vampire's heart - with nothing more than a crook of her finger. She owns the keys to his soul. As a ruthless sentinel sworn to protect the ancient Vampyr king and the house of Jadon, he has "HOJ" literally inscribed on his heart: a heart that was tragically broken centuries earlier, when human hunters slayed his mother and Dark Ones murdered his father. Having survived the unthinkable, he never dreamed he would come this close to another human predator, let alone a female pretending to be his destiny.

Yes, yes I would, I simply found myself transported to another realm in listening to this book! Absolutely fantastic listen.

What other book might you compare Blood Betrayal to and why?

Most of the Blood Curse Series, it just has this feel when ye sit and listen that ye don't want to leave once started.

Which character – as performed by Eric G. Dove – was your favorite?

That would be Saxon :) Pure Alpha Male with a squishy soft side that turns to mush around his chosen Kiera :)

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me laugh, cry, shudder, gasp, shout and drool seriously it's THAT good.

Any additional comments?

Would you consider the audio edition of Zanaikeyros - Son of Dragons to be better than the print version?

No, I would not consider it better than print but that is just my personal choice I adore books and the printed version to savor and hold close to my heart. However Mr. Dove does a fantastic job of bringing life to Tessa's books. He is simply masterful at what he does.

The raw emotive quality this story brings, it had me riveted from start to finish.

Jordan captured my imagination and held me captive, such a strong willed yet sensitive character, what I've come to expect from Tessa.

Julien Lacusta is a troubled soul, born into tragic circumstances, and raised in a violent time. Despite being a Master Warrior in the house of Jadon, and one of the most elite trackers the Vampyr have ever seen, he is damaged to the core: tormented by endless shadows, haunted by unseen ghosts. And he knows - by all the celestial gods he knows - that if he ever releases those demons, the beasts that lurk within, there will be hell, fire, and brimstone to pay.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would totally recommend this book to a friend and have already to many! It captures the imagination from the very first words and doesn't stop in its frantic pace until the very end.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the concept of this story, the horror and humor carried each other along very nicely, I found myself chewing my fingers and laughing out loud at the most ridiculous moments. Very few horror books tickle my fancy but this one did!

Have you listened to any of Emily Beresford’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I have not but I will surely do so now, Emily got this book and brought it to life making the transition from reading a fun and crazy story to hearing the characters come to life and make me shiver with anticipation

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and infact I did so, I couldn't stop it if I tried, I recommend having plenty of time to listen and do this story justice. It was a total pleasure ride for me.

Any additional comments?

Tessa Dawn has always blown my mind with her Blood Curse Series but this stand alone book DayWalker had me screaming, laughing and shouting out loud. It truly was a fantastic book that was fast paced, ghoulish and garish in all the right places. Lacy Logan the main character was a hoot that I both wanted to slap and have a night out with. Before there was a modern-day town called Dark Moon Vale, there was an ancient kingdom nestled in the Transylvanian Alps. Before there was a primordial species called the Vampyr, there was a celestial race begotten of gods and men. Before light battled shadow, the sacrifice became mandatory, or the first Blood Moon adorned the celestial sky... There was The Curse.

What made the experience of listening to Blood Genesis the most enjoyable?

Eric Dove is a master story teller, he breathes life to the amazing words Tessa Dawn writes I found myself utterly transported to a time and place that left me mezmorized

What other book might you compare Blood Genesis to and why?

I don't think I'd compare any book to Blood Genesis, it truly is a unique one of a kind and yet of course prequel to the Blood Curse Series.

What does Eric G. Dove bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Life and vivid emotion, its hard to read men's emotions from a female point of view but hearing it, theres magic in that.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I found myself enthralled from the very first words, it's not a long book by any means but it explains so much about perhaps how characters in the Blood Curse Series act the way they feel, the reasons that they are who they are. An absolute recommendation from me.

Any additional comments?

Tessa Dawn took this book out of the "ball park" it's beautifully written and has such depth and emotion. It can be read alone of as a prequel to the Blood Curse Series. I have already read it numerous times to take everything in and now I like to sit here and listen to Eric bring those magical inspirational words to life.

Where does Blood Vengeance rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is in my top five of all time. The other four are also in the Blood Curse Series.

Who was your favorite character and why?

In this book I adored Ramsey and his extreme nature. I wanted to know more about the man behind the all Alpha.

Which scene was your favorite?

By far my favorite scene is when Tiffany has learned she is basically bethroed to Ramsey and all that ensues from that revelation. Shocking, hilarious, emotional and down right sexy hot is only a few words that can describe it :)

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I found myself crying at times, laughing out loud seconds later. This book takes you on a very emotional roller coaster ride that you won't want to come off of.

Any additional comments?

Tessa Dawn's books simply get better and better as each book goes along. I'm forever surprised and delighted and how intense her characters are, I love how I am surprised at how I feel in each book. Please do yourself a huge favor and get this book and the rest of the series to understand the true complexities behind the series.

I prefer holding books in my hand and devouring them page by page but Blood Father is astounding in its emotional capabilities. I found myself completely rivited by the intensity and heart ache

What was one of the most memorable moments of Blood Father?

Saber telling the Silivasi brothers that their father did in fact live

Which character – as performed by Eric G. Dove – was your favorite?

Kagen came to the forefront for me in this story. Absolutely harrowing what he had to deal with and the pressure to bring his Father home, immense

Captured by the enemy, he is sentenced to execution by sunlight only to discover that his body will not burn - he isn't who he thought he was. He was stolen at birth. What made the experience of listening to Blood Redemption the most enjoyable?

I found myself stopping what I was doing and just listening, being totally captivated.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Blood Redemption?

So many but for me Saber meeting his parents, then choosing to be a better man, not only for his Silivasi brethern but because it was the right thing to do. Of course meeting his one true love :)

Which scene was your favorite?

When Saber was sentenced to die but didn't, when Napoleon the King from the house of Jadon realized something was ary, and decided to observe and watch over Saber, knowing that if Saber didn't have the strength to change for the good he would make sure he died. That one redeeming chance, would Saber truly take it and stick to it for eternity, turning away from his dark family in the house of Jaegar.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Saber's constant anguish, confusion and yet strength. He truly is a remarkable character that leaves me breathless in his intensity.

Any additional comments?

Tessa Dawn moved me to tears and beyond with this book. I have never enjoyed a book so more as Blood Redemption. It has everything one could possibly need for a few hours of bliss. Be forewarned, this is indeed a dark tale, but worthy to be amongst the greats in litreture, such as Dracula.
