Nothing ever changes in Sanders. The town's still got a video store, for God's sake. So why doesn't Eli Teague want to leave? Not that he'd ever admit it, but maybe he's been waiting - waiting for the traveler to come back. The one who's roared into his life twice before, pausing just long enough to drop tantalizing clues before disappearing in a cloud of gunfire and a squeal of tires. The one who's a walking anachronism, with her tricorne hat, flintlock rifle, and steampunked Model A Ford.

this was a great sci-fi adventure book! I loved the characters from the get go and was pumped to go on this journey with them. The pacing was fast and fun! I was sad when it ended, I absolutely loved it!

Although Scott Carey doesn’t look any different, he’s been steadily losing weight. There are a couple of other odd things, too. He weighs the same in his clothes and out of them, no matter how heavy they are. Scott doesn’t want to be poked and prodded. He mostly just wants someone else to know, and he trusts Doctor Bob Ellis. In the small town of Castle Rock, the setting of many of King’s most iconic stories, Scott is engaged in a low-grade - but escalating - battle with the lesbians next door whose dog regularly drops his business on Scott’s lawn. One of the women is friendly; the other, cold as ice.

The majority of the book is elevation and it's a silly little story to be honest, but King makes the characters likeable and relatable. The theme he conveys is a bit heavy handed but important. the second story is short and sweet and kinda pointless but I still liked it. This is in no way one of Kings best books but even a mediocre King book is better than most. his narration as always is great!

Judas Coyne is a collector of the macabre. But nothing he possesses is as unlikely or as dreadful as his latest discovery, a thing so terrible-strange, Jude can't help but reach for his wallet. For a thousand dollars, Jude will become the proud owner of a dead man's suit, said to be haunted by a restless spirit. But what UPS delivers to his door in a black heart-shaped box is no imaginary or metaphorical ghost. It's the real thing.

The first story has a great performance from Defoe but the story was a little lacking. James Woods reads secret house, secret window and he does a great job and it was a great novella. The library policeman was the best story by far and it alone makes this worth a listen. The last story was bland and boring to me. overall it's got enough good stuff to keep you interested but not all stories are as good as the others
