Lisa Lace has such great world creating ideas and mixes romance & action wonderfully but the number of annoying inconsistancies with her plots and character personalities keep it from being great. Such as Why was Purity able to keep our heroine locked up??? She did nothing wrong? Where was her supposedly over protective mom and dad. if my daughter was on the news, I would have been by her side pretty fast. Why was she giving Purity ANY real info about the Cyborgs??? She was suppose to be on their side. She could have made up false info because there was no way to check it. The story was still good and had a great HEA. But, I wish Lisa Lace would spend a little more time and more pages and make it great. Her story Abduction shows just how great she can make it.

Why would I want to be married to an alien? I should not have applied to TerraMates! The idea was crazy. I'm a young woman, in the prime of my life. But I was desperate. When I landed on another world, his appearance intrigued me. He dripped sexuality and moved like an animal. We have three days together before he sets sail without me. Am I going to escape or submit to my desires?

This is my third Lisa Lace story and the first that was disappointing. The story lacked a lot of details about the alien world and people. There were a couple of unbelievable parts such as the human Ashlyn is not even shocked or inquisitive when they beam her marriage documents into her arm. The plot jumps too fast leaving out parts that I really wanted to experience with the characters. instead these parts are referenced as character memories. Leaving me with a disappointed" What! When did that happen" feeling. Because I have read her later works and had none of these problems it makes me think this might have been one of her earlier works. please try one of her others such as Abduction.

Isaac Morningstar III, or Zach to the few who know him, has hit rock bottom. Once an immortal, nearly-invincible dragon, he's been awakened only to have his powers and his treasure locked away until he can prove himself to be a trustworthy protector of humans. Since Zach has never liked humans, he's pretty sure he's going to end up back on ice. That is, until he meets sweet, curvy Erin, a human hairdresser who might just turn his world upside down.

The storyline could have been so much more. It is more like a sweet short story. I really wanted a lot more action and a little less sweetness. I loved the beginning when they meet. It even had a great bad guy but everything is solved too easily.

Surveying the site for a high-end golf course should have been a breeze for spunky landscape architect Sophie Smith. But when this city girl is swept off her feet by a sexy cowboy on horseback, she realizes that the country life has some serious possibilities. That is, until she finds out exactly who her smokin'-hot wrangler really is. Cowboy and tribal lawyer Jake Lodge is desperately trying to block the development. And if that means playing hardball-and being every inch the shark lawyer - so be it. Two different worlds. Two opposing sides. Exquisite temptation.

loved this story. Great mix of romance, mystery and action. fun and easy listening while you're driving. main Guy is strong and confident enough to take the time to listen. intelligent enough to figure out what girl means. Girl is girly enough to be frightened but strong enough to overcome it when needed. A great love story with outside villians and without the corny overly emotional miscommunication as conflict.
